  • On 24th2020, the police in Asaba, Delta state arrested five suspected cult members in connection with the orgies of bloodlettings in the state capital, 10 killings were recorded at different parts of the city.


  • On 24th 2020, information has it that a newly-wed bride and a nursing mother were abducted by suspected bandits at Sutti village in Tangaza Local Government area of the state, it was gathered that, the bride was abducted while being conveyed to her husband’s house.
  • On 26th 2020, information available has it that five persons died after a flood destroyed thousands of houses and farmland in Goronyo Local Government area of sokoto state, the governor of the state directed the people to take inventory of the losses.


  • On 25th 2020, information received shows that gunmen invaded Damba-kasaya community in Chikun Local Government area of kaduna state and abducted seven junior students and a teacher from the community, a farmer was also abducted and another killed.


  • On 26th 2020, three suspects who claimed to be members of the National union of Road Transport workers (NURTW) were arrested with two US-made Benetta pistols allegedly found in their possession, the police said the suspects were involved in numerous crises in the Ojo and Okokomaiko areas of the state, the suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigation is over.


  • On 26th 2020, two children were killed and one other missing, following two days of heavy downpour in Birnin kudu local government area of the state, the two children died when a building collapsed on them during the rains, while many sustained various degrees of injuries.


  • On 26th 2020, information has it that three farmers were abducted by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers while working on their farms along Sabongida Dananacha route in Gassol local government area of the state.


  • On 26th 2020, an alleged serial killer and drug addict, Feyisola Dosumu popularly known as Spartan, who has been declared wanted by the Ogun state police command was shot dead by joint security forces in the Ogere area after a two days operation.


  • On 27th 2020, the Edo state police command arrested six suspects allegedly involved in the murder of a university of Benin (UNIBEN) student, Miss Vera Uwaila Omozuwa, an 100level student who was gang-raped and killed at the Redeemed Christian Church, Ihovbe, Benin in Edo state sometimes in May 2020.


  • On 28th 2020 report has it that two persons sustained machete cuts following a clash between a suspected cultist and members of a vigilante group in Angwar abattoir, Mpape in Abuja, the development created tension, security personnel had to go to the scene to resolve the matter, meanwhile investigation is ongoing.
