CILIATHEC GUARDS LIMITED WEEKLY SECURITY REPORT- WEEK ENDED 13TH NOVEMBER 2020.

Lagos:

  • 9th 2020, detectives of the Lagos State Police Command arrested five suspected hoodlums in a fresh attack on the Igando Police Station; the attack came three days after police officers attached to the burnt Igando Police Division responded to the Inspector General’s directive urging them to go back to their duty post.
  • 13th 2020, the police in Lagos State arrested one Segun Titilayo for allegedly killing his girlfriend, the suspect who resides in Otolu town in Lekki Local Council Development Area (LLDA) allegedly lured his girlfriend, to his house where he killed and buried her body in a shallow grave at a construction site.

Benue:

  • 10th 2020, report has it that irate mobs killed one prophet Uhembe Jacob, who was accused of playing a role in the disappearance of some male genitals in Daudu village, Guma LGA of the state, it was gathered that the prophet’s Divine Shadow Church was set ablaze last week by the angry mob who fingered him as an accomplice in the missing genitals saga which has rocked the hitherto peaceful community since September this year.
  • 12th 2020, information has it that, a mob meted jungle justice on a suspected motorcycle thief near the Arts Council junction in Makurdi metropolis of Benue state, it was gathered that the suspect tricked a commercial motorcyclist around 11pm to convey him to somewhere along George Akume Way, Makurdi and while on the way, he pulled out a gun and ordered the rider to take him elsewhere, luck ran out of him when they met vigilantes, the suspect attempted running but was caught and killed instantly.

Ogun:

  • 10th 2020, Police in Ogun State arrested two young men for allegedly gang raping a 14year girl, the suspects were arrested following a complaint lodged at Owode, Egba Police Division by the mother of the victim, it was gathered that the victim was abducted and taken to an unknown place, where the suspects took turns to forcefully have carnal knowledge of her.

Abuja:

  • 12th 2020, Gunmen killed one traveler and abducted several others near Rijana town along the Kaduna-Abuja highway, it was gathered that the incident occurred around 8:00am at Gadar Malam Mamman, a few kilometers to Rijan community, the gunmen blocked the road before carrying out the operation, one traveler was shot dead and others abducted.

Citizens and corporate organizations are strongly advised to exercise caution in their day to day activities including overland travels and report suspected cases to the security authorities.
