· On 06th September. 2024, the police operatives in Anambra State arrested a suspect over alleged involvement in the trafficking of teenagers. SP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the apprehension, added that the suspect had trafficked many teenagers to neighbouring countries. |

· On 02nd September. 2024, Bauchi State Police Command has confirmed that two people are missing while three passengers were rescued after a passenger boat capsized in the Zindiwa River, located in Gamawa Local Government Area of Bauchi State. the Police Public Relations Officer, Mohammed Ahmed Wakil, confirmed the incident. |

· On 04th September. 2024, report has it that suspected electricity vandal electrocuted while tampering with a Jos Electricity Distribution Company (JED) transformer in the Wadata metropolis of Makurdi in Benue State. Dr. Adakole Elijah, the Head of Corporate Communications JED, confirmed the incident, he warns those vandalising electricity facilities to desist from such acts. |

· On 5th September. 2024, reports have it that insurgents looted unripe crops in Gwoza LGA this incident raised concerns prompting the senator representing Borno north senator Mohammed Ali Ndume to revel a raise concerns saying Boko haram terrorist had resorted to looting the unripe crops of the returnee communities of Ngoshe, Kirawa, Warabe, Wala, polka, and Gwoza town. |

· On 5th September, 2024, it was reported that gunmen suspected to be kidnappers at around 1900hrs ambushed and killed two mobile policemen and a driver escorting Mrs. Charity Uroye, the wife of a Delta State lawmaker along Jakpan Road in Uvwie LGA. The Police Public Relations Officers in the state SP Bright Edafe, confirmed the incident, stating “the operation was not successful for the gunmen. |

· On 03rd September. 2024, operatives of Edo State Police Command arrested a native doctor, Timothy Dauda (19), over the alleged killing of one Alex Ezekeil while testing the efficacy of a charm in Onumu community in Akoko-Edo LGA. The commands spokesman, Moses Yamu, confirmed the incident. · On 03rd September. 2024, gunmen killed Mr. Samson Omoarebokhae a Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Speaker of Edo State House of Assembly, Blessing Agbebaku. Mrs Ivy Adobo-Ebojele, the Special Adviser to the Speaker on Media, confirmed the incident in a statement. · On 06th September. 2024, Edo State Police Command arrested two men, Adamu Usman (18) and Erik Bassey (36) over an alleged attempt to steal artefacts worth N500m from the house of the Esama of Benin Kingdom in Edo State, Chief Gabriel Igbinedion. The state’s police spokesman, moses Yamu, confirmed the arrest by the police surveillance. · On 06th September. 2024, the police operatives apprehended a suspected kidnapper, Ibrahim Yahaya Jolly (27), after he collected N7 million ransom from the family of this victim. The Edo State Police Command’s spokesman, SP Mooses Yamu, confirmed the arrest, said, “the suspect was tracked and traced to Kogi State where he was arrested by the intelligence unit of the command.” |

· On 03rd September. 2024, gunmen killed a man identified as Oluwolea and abducted three travelers, on the Emure-Ekiti road in Emure LGA of Ekiti State. The Chairman of Emure LGA, Tosin Adedayo, confirmed the incident. |

· On 02nd September 2024, credible intelligence gathering has it that soldiers have gunned down three suspected bandits and rescued four of their victims in Nasarawa-Jibo Forest in Kachia LGA of Kaduna State. A hunter, Shehu who was part of the operation said the troops who were led by hunters from neighbouring Nasarawa-Azzara and Kurmin-Kare communities, invaded the bandits hideout and engaged them in a gun duel, which forced many of them to abandon their captives and flee. · On 05th September. 2024, information has it that soldiers gunned down two bandits informants at Maraban Bishini in Kachia LGA of Kaduna state. A community leader who preferred anonymity said the suspects were arrested after the soldiers got intelligent information about their movement. The community leader also said cough syrup, hemp, foodstuffs, and wines were recovered from the suspects. Spokesman of the Kaduna State Police Command ASP Hassan Mansur could not be reached to comment on the incident. · On 06th September. 2024, the Kaduna State Police Command has apprehended 11 suspected kidnappers across the State, recovering locally made rifles and other items during various operations. The Public Relation Officer, ASP Mansir Hassan, confirmed the arrest, said the items recover includes a fabricated single-barrel gun, a green Golf car, a Bajaj motorcycle and eight mobile phones. He added the operation recovered AK-47 raffles, two English pistol, 908,600 cash and many other items. · On 06th September. 2024, gunman abducted a councillorship aspirant, Mr. Japheth Zarma Yakubu, on his farm in the Kurmin-Kare community in Kachia LGA of Kaduna State. The spokesman of the Kaduna State Police Command, ASP Hassan Mansur, could not be reached for comment on the incident. |

· On 02nd September. 2024, report has it that a 35-year-old woman, Balaraba Tijjani, has been killed and two of her children, Abdulnasir (11) and Abdallah (13) injured after their house collapsed following a downpour in the Makwarari area of Kano metropolis in Kano State. Saminu Yusif Abdullahi, the spokesman of the Kano State Fire Service, confirmed the development. · On 03rd September. 2024, the Police command in Kano State has confirmed the killing of a notorious armed robbery, Abba Burakita, and arrested 92 other suspects. The spokesperson of the command, Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, confirmed the incident. · On 06th September. 2024, Credible intelligence has it that Kano State Police Command arrested a man who allegedly disguised as a woman, wearing hijab, claimed he could change the fortune of his victims, pretending to be the “Queen of demons” to defraud people. The command’s spokesmen, Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, confirmed the incident, said the suspect specialised in luring people into believing him that, “she was a demon and could do and undo”. · On 06th September. 2024, Three persons have reportedly died and two other rescued alive when a two-story building collapsed at a two- story building collapsed at Noman land area in Fagge LGA of Kano State. The Public Relations Officer, Kano State Fire Service, Saminu Yusif Abdullahi, acknowledged the incident. |

· On 02nd September. 2024, following a credible intelligence gathering, the police in Katsina State arrested three suspected gunrunners in Dutsinma, while attempting to deliver 740 rounds of live 7.62mm ammunition to suspected bandits in Yauni Forest, Ummadau village in Safana LGA of Katsina State. the Command Spokesman, ASP Abubakar Aliyu, acknowledged the arrest. |

· On 03rd September. 2024, report has it that the leader of the vigilante Group of Nigeria (VNG) in Ankpa LGA of Kogi State Abu Welder, and Two of his men have been killed by gunmen. Ismail Adejo, a youth leader in Ankpa, confirmed the attack. |

· On 02nd September. 2024, police in Kwara State arrested a driver, Ajiro Kayode, who allegedly smashed the head of his employer, Chief Abraham Babatunde, with plank and told the family that he falls inside his toilet and died in Omu-Aran in Irepodun LGA. The Commissioner of Police Acknowledged the arrest. · On 06th September. 2024, operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Kwara State arrested three men, Adeleke Oke (81), Sikiru Lawal (37), and Moshood Suleiman Ayinde (37), over allegedly defiling a 12-year-old girl in Offa LGA. Ayoola Micheal, spokesman of the NSCDC, confirmed the arrest, saying “they threatened her not to open up to anyone about the illicit act. · On 06th September. 2024, intelligence gathering has it that operatives of the Ilorin Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested 56 suspected internet fraudsters popularly known as “yahoo boy” in Ilorin, Kwara State. The EFCC spokesman, Dele Oyewale, confirmed the arrest, said the suspects will be arraigned before the court upon conclusion of investigation. He added, 18 different exotic cars, laptops, expensive smartphones and charms were recovered. |

· On 02nd September. 2024, suspected drug trafficker, arrested by the Nasarawa State Police Command and recovered an operational vehicle and 15 bags of dry leaves believed to be Indian hemp. The spokesman of the command, DSP Rahaman Nanse, confirmed the apprehension. · On 06th September. 2024, operatives of the Nasarawa State Police Command apprehended a suspected fake medical doctor who injected procaine into a man which led to his death. The command spokesman, DSP Ramhan Nansel, confirmed the arrest, said the “the fake doctor, named Isa Usman (35), has been operating in Iyayi village, Kadarko District of Keana LGA. |

· On 02nd September. 2024, corpse of a man suspected to be a commercial motorcycle rider has been found by the roadside near the General Yakubu Gowon Lodge, GRA, in Bida LGA of Niger State. Spokesman of the Niger State Police Command, SP Wasiu Abiodun, acknowledge the tragedy. · On 03rd September. 2024, report has it that a couple, Mr. and Mrs. Mohammad Alhassan, Shettima Sheshi, have died in a car crash on the Agaie-Katcha road in Niger State. · On 03rd September. 2024, report has it that residents of Muhammad Inuwa Wushishi Housing Estate in Minna, Niger State, have been forced to flee their homes following a violent raid by hoodlums suspected to be artisanal miners. Spokesman of the Niger State Police Command, SP Wasiu Abiodun, acknowledge the incident, saying that at approximately 1400hr. police received a distress call about thugs attacking houses in the area. · On 5th September. 2024, it was reported by the PRO of the Niger State Police Command, SP Wasiu Abiodun, that at about 1400hrs a distress call was received that suspected illegal miners miscreants and thugs engaged in a fight were attacking houses in MI Wushishi Estate, Minna, prompting police patrol team lead by the DPO in charge of Maitumbi to be dispatched to the scene , he confirmed the loss of one individual but has stated that normalcy has been restored, with a patrol team positioned to forestall a recurrence. |

· On 5th September. 2024, reported has it that a man has been clubbed to death and set ablaze by a mob in Illisha-Remo in Ikenne LGA of Ogun state. A soldier was also stabbed by the group consisting mostly of motorcyclists popularly known as Okada riders. The chairman of Illisa Development Association Otunba Wemmy Osude in a statement confirmed the incident. |

· On 05th September. 2024, report has it that local hunter Ajegba Joseph (38) has been arrested for allegedly shooting his friend who was alleged of having an affair with his girlfriend who was a divorcee. The state police commissioner Abayomi Oladipo who confirmed the arrest, said the suspect shot his friend in the thigh with an unlicensed single-barreled gun, he said the gun had been recovered while the victim is currently recuperating at the hospital and the suspect would soon be charged to court. · On 05th September. 2024, intelligence gathering has it that detectives from the state police command apprehended four-members syndicate who specializes in car snatching in the state. The Commissioner of Police, Abayomi Oladipo, in a statement while parading the gang members at the commands headquarters in Akure, said the arrest was due to the significant strides by the force to fight crime in the state. He added that female accomplice who produced fake vehicular documents and others were equally arrested. |

· On 02nd September. 2024, intelligence gathering has it that Plateau State Police Command arrested three suspected “one chance” robbers identified as Umar Abu, Peter Ezekeil and Kelvin Monday operating in Jos North and Jos South LGAs while attempting to make away with the mobile phone of one of their victims. The spokesman of the command, DSP Alabo Alfred, confirmed the arrest. · On 5th September. 2024, gunmen attacked Kwatas and Daffo communities of Bokkos LGA of Plateau Stat, Brig-Gen. Gakji Shipi RTD the Special Adviser to Governor Caleb Mutfwang disclosed this to newsmen on Wednesday in Jos. Brigadier General Gakji Shipi RTD, who also is the coordinator of the state-owned security outfit operation rainbow confirmed the loss of seven people and others sustained varying degrees of injuries. |

· On 02nd September. 2024, following intelligence processed by the agency on the movement of the drugs from India, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) intercepted a total of 31, 124,600 pills of tramadol and bottles of codeine-based syrup worth over N17,932,200,000 at the Port Harcourt Port Complex, Onne, Rivers State, and the Tincan Seaport in Lagos State respectively. The spokesman of the agency, Femi Babafemi, confirmed. |

· On 03rd September. 2024, Boko Haram terrorists were said to have killed many villagers, mainly farmers, and set houses and shops ablaze at Mafa village in Tarmuwa Local Government Area of Yobe State. The spokesman of the Yobe State Police Command, Dungus Abdulkarim, confirmed the attack, said we cannot yet confirm the exact number of casualties. · On 03rd September. 2024, report has it that the Yobe State Police Command recorded 62 cases of rape and other Gender-Based Violence (GBV) cases from January to August 2024. The commands spokesman, DSP Dungus Abdulkarim, disclosed the incidents, he said that some of the cases were under investigation while others were in court. · On 04th September. 2024, a report has it that suspected Boko Haram insurgents have attacked Buni Yadi, the Headquarter of Gujba Local Government Area in Yobe State, setting two vehicles ablaze on the process. The attack comes four days after the insurgents killed 34 people in Mafa area of the State. Captain Shehu Muhammed, Assistant Director of Public Relation for Operation Lafiya Dole Sector 2 in Damaturu, confirmed the attack and noted that troops successfully repelled the insurgents. |

· On 5th September. 2024, it was reported that suspected herders hacked a farmer, Samson Gimba to death and injured two others in Riwaza community in Kwali Area Council of the FCT. A resident, James Shilani confirmed the incident, said the incident occurred around 1400hrs after the herders moved their cows into the victims cassava farm prompting the victim to question the act which then led to an altercation, in the process one of the sons of the farmer hit one of the cows with a cutlass and one of the herders also removed a cutlass and stabbed the farmer. · On 5th September. 2024, Suspect hoodlums stabbed a woman, Mrs. Rebecca Moses, while snatching her handbag in the Bako community in Kwali Area Council of the FCT. Resident, Emmanuel Alfred, decried the activities of miscreants in the area. |
