· On 08th August. 2024, intelligence gathering has it that Bauchi State Police Command, confirmed the death of Habibu Aminu, reportedly killed by operatives of Operation Safe Heavens during a clash with youths in Lere town, Tafawa Balewa LGA. SP Ahmed Wakil, the command Public Relation Officer disclose, said the situation arose from a conflict between PDP members and personnel of Operation Safe Heaven Stationed in Tafawa Balewa. |

· On 09th August. 2024, at least 20 people have been reportedly burnt to death as the engine of a wooden market boat popularly known as Denghe market boat exploded along Ezetu community River in the Southern Ijaw LGA of Bayelsa State. The Chairman of maritime Workers Union in Bayelsa State, Mr. Ipgansi Ogoniba, confirmed the boat accident, said it caught fire in the middle of the river while it was sailing to Okubie community and burnt some of the passengers onboard. · On 09th August. 2024, hoodlums suspected to be cultists killed a man inside the abattoir section of the Swali Ultramodern Market in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. A trader, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said that the suspected cultists had been terrorising the market without any confrontation by the security agents. |

· On 09th August. 2024, intelligence gathering has it that the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) said that its air strikes effectively destroyed suspected Improvised Explosive Device (IED) factory, two-gun trucks and neutralised several terrorists in Grazah Mandara Mountains, Borno State. The Director of Public Relations and Information, NAF, Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet, stated this in a statement. |

· On 07th August.2024, four people have been reportedly killed in a clash between the Aye and Bagger cult groups in Ughelli North LGA of Delta State over debt collection. It was gathered that two people lost their lives in the okogbe area of Otovwodo while two were killed near Iwhreko and Ogor Park. The state police spokesman, SP Edafe Bright could not be reached. |

· On 05th August. 2024, report has it that hoodlums invaded a plantain farm located close to the University in Benin (Ugbowo Campus) Benin City, Edo State, and stole 100 bunches of plantain. The owner of the farm, a staff of the university, who declined to disclose his name, said his plantain was harvested by hoodlums as he was not able to go to farm because of the #EndBadGovernance protest. · On 05th August. 2024, two men arrested over their alleged involvement in looting of palliative rice from a truck in Urora community in Uhunmwonde LGA near Benin City during the #EndBadGovernace protest. The Commissioner of Police (CP), Funsho Adegboye, confirmed the arrest. · On 05th August. 2024, operatives of the Edo State Police Command apprehended three men, Adboola Olaniyen (30), Emmanuel Oketa (21) and Osamuyi Henry (30), over allegedly being in possession of weapons during the hunger protest in the Iyaro area of Benin City, Edo State. · On 06th August. 2024, report has it that Ekiti State Police Command nabbed three suspects over allegedly behind the killing of a woman, Aina Adeyemi, near the satellite campus of the federal polytechnic Ado Ekiti and stealing her motorcycle. The Police spokesman in the State, DSP Sunday Abutu, confirmed the incident, said the investigation by the command’s Rapid Response squad (RRS) let to the arrest. · On 07th August.2024, police in Ekiti State arraigned three men, Oyewusi Omotade (28), Kayode Fagbuyiro (45) and Abu Enemona (30) in an Ado-Ekiti magistrate’s court over alleged theft of 94 bags of cocoa, property of one Olubodun Arinde, worth N80 million. The Magistrate, Mr. A. Adeosun, granted them bail of N600,000 with one surety each and adjourned the case to September. · On 09th August.2024, a 35-year-old man, Hussain Ndagi, who resided in the Oke-Bolla area of Ado-Ekiti, announced missing by the Ekiti State Police Command. · On 05th August. 2024, bandits have beheaded a hunter, Samari Yakubu, in Kurmin-Kare village in Kachia LGA of Kaduna State. a community leader, who confirmed the incident, said the victim left home for hunting in the Kurutu Forest in the area. He further said that two suspected bandits informants were arrested in neighbouring Maraban Iddah village by soldiers. · On 05th August. 2024, intelligence gathering has it that soldiers have arrested gunrunner, Ahmadu Hashimu, and recovered rifles and ammunition at a checkpoint near Saminaka, Headquarters of Lere LGA of Kaduna State. a security source who was part of the operation but preferred anonymity, said some of the items found in his possession were a General-Purpose Machine Gun (GPMG), a Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) Laucher, one RPG bomb, 1,069 rounds of 7.62mm (special) ammunition and belt of 7.62mm (NATO) ammunition, as well as the vehicle used. · On 06th August 2024, three bandits neutralised by soldiers foiled the abduction of passengers on the Abuja Kaduna highway near Maraban Jibo in Kaduna State. A witness, Saleh Ibrahim, said the incident happened around 6pm when an 18-seater buss had a flat tyre in a black spot but with the help of soldiers who were on patrol respond to the destress called. The spokesman of the command, ASP Mansir Hassan, disclosed this a statement, said AK-47 rifles along with 27 rounds of live ammunition was recovered. He added, the suspects upon interrogation, confessed to being involved in several kidnapping in Ikara LGA of Kaduna State. · On 08th August. 2024, bandits reportedly killed four people and abducted 23 others in attacked on Sabon Gida Libere and Ungwan Nabara communities in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State. a resident of Sabon Gidan Libere, confirmed the attack, said the bandits had established a camp in the Agwala forest, a heavy wooded area near Libere, complicating efforts to track them down. · On 09th August.2024, gallant vigilantes operatives killed six suspected bandits during a gun duel and recovered 220 rustled cows in Kasangwai village in Kagarko LGA of Kaduna State. A community leader, who preferred anonymity, said the incident happened at about 5pm when bandits, wielding AK-47 rifles, invaded a Fulani settlement. |

· On 06th August.2024, six cross-dressers apprehended by the Kano State Hisbah Board who were suspected of engaging in homosexuality in the Gaida area in Kumbotso LGA. The Deputy Commander General of Hisbah, Dr. Mujaheed Abubakar, confirmed the arrest, said the suspects were apprehended following a complaint from residents. · On 07th August.2024, intelligence gathering has it that police in Kano State apprehended suspected armed robber Hassan Iliya (35) and recovered two Ak-47 rifles and the sum of 4,986,000 while attempting to escaped on a motorcycle. The police spokesman in the state, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, confirmed the arrest. |

· On 05th August. 2024, gunmen men killed a youth leader, Muhammad Person, in Odu-Ofugo community in Dekina LGA of Kogi State. The state’s police spokesman, SP Williams Aya, did not respond to a call put across to him. · On 08th August. 2024, three persons apprehended for allegedly impersonating Hajiya Sefinat Usamn-Odod, the wife of the Executive Governor Kogi State, Ahmed, Ododo, over a fake programme with the inscription “Kogi State Cooperative Federation of Nigeria” to defraud the public. The State Police Spokesman, SP Williams Aya, disclosed this, said, “the case is under investigation. |

· On 05th August. 2024, information has it that a yet-to-be-identified man about 38-year-old, was found dead inside a domestic well in Kwara State. Hassan Adekunle, the Public Relation Officer of the Kwara State Fire Service confirmed the incident, stating that an investigation is ongoing to determine the cause. · On 6th August 2024, a 35-year-old, Abdul Yekeen Babatunde, man resident in Baboko area of Ilorin, has been arraigned for allegedly stealing car engine oil and other related items worth over a million naira the suspect was arraigned to court for theft contrary to section 348,353 and 287 of the penal code. According to the Police first information (FIR), the items recovered from the suspect include 110 gallon of engine oil, 72 motorcycle tubes,56 Matex ATF,200 black cello tape value at over 1.3 million naira. |

· On 06th August. 2024, a 43-Year-old, Daniel Gift Oluwabunnmi, sales representative has been arraigned in a magistrates’ court sitting in Ogba, Lagos State, over allegedly running away with goods worth N4 million belonging to his employer. ASP Akeem Raji, Lagos State Police Command confirmed. · On 07th August. 2024, two people trapped inside a Volkswagen bus filled with vegetables were rescued from the scene of an auto crash at the new Garage by Odo Iya-Alaro in the Ojota area of Lagos State. The General Manager of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), Mr. Olalekan Bakare-Oki, confirmed the rescued operation. · On 09th August. 2024, two suspected members of a cross-order car snatching syndicate sighted around noon around the Trade Fair Area of Ojo apprehended and a Toyota Corolla which they allegedly snatched from its owner at gunpoint recovered in the Abule Ado area of Lagos State. The Lagos State Police spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed the arrest, said the suspects Kosoko Rafiu and Nunayo Sunayo were said to be citizens of the Republic of Benin. · On 09th August. 2024, report has it that two suffered heavy burns while 6 vehicles were destroyed in a fire that engulfed Mobile Filling Station by Allen Junction in the Ikeja area of Lagos State. The spokesman of the Lagos State Emergence Management Agency (LASMA), disclosed the incident, said that an investigation conducted at the scene revealed that the fire was attributed to an explosion from a gas truck. |

· On 09th August. 2024, information has it that the death toll from a mysterious illness that claimed the lives of five children in Gidinye community, Obi LGA of Nasarawa State, has belong to the same maternal grandmother. The state’s epidemiologist, Dr. Grace Tsakpa, confirmed that healthcare workers had been sent to the community to collect samples from surviving family members. |

· On 05th August. 2024, report has it that five people were confirmed killed and six were also confirmed to have been injured from the gunshots during the hunger protest in Suleja town in Niger State. · On 07th August.2024, information has it that a former reporter with Daily Trust Aliyu Hamagan, has been attacked around 2am and injured by suspected armed robbers in his house leading to his admission at the Minna General Hospital in Minna, Niger State. The spokesperson of the Niger State Police Command, SP Wasiu Abiodun, said he was not aware of the incident. · On 08th August. 2024, 23 protesters apprehended, five among were teenagers by the Niger State Police Command over alleged violent protest in Tafa LGA of Niger State. The Commissioner of Police in the State, Ebenezer Danmamman, said the suspects engaged in criminal trespass, Mischief by fire, office breaking, as well as belonging to an assembly of thugs and thieves. · On 09th August.2024, four more corpses have been recovered from the mining pit that collapsed in Galkogo Shiroro LGA of Niger State More than two month after the incident. The District Head of Galadima-Kogo, Mallam Umar Aliyu confirmed the four bodies recovered, said the bodies were deposited at the mortuary of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida Specialist Hospital. |

· On 6th August. 2024, a report has it that an Osun magistrates’ court in Ile-Ife has ordered the remand of two brothers, Teslim Awoyefa (480, and Taoheed Awoyefa (42) over alleged unlawful possession of firearms. The prosecutor said that the offence is contrary to and punishable under Section 2, 86,249 (d),355 and 517 of the Criminal Court Code, Cap34 Voll.11, Laws of Osun 2002. |

· On 08th August. 2024, following an intelligence gathering, the detectives from the Zone 7 Police Headquarter comprising the FCT and Niger State apprehended four suspected armed robbers Solomon Nuhu, Faruk Umar, Bolaji Yusu and Lawal Yusuf, recovered vehicles and firearms. DSP MB Abdulkadir, spokesman of the zone confirmed the arrest. · On 09th August.2024, report has it that a cross dresser, popularly known as Abuja Mama, was reportedly found dead with several injuries on his head around the Nicon Junction in Maitama District. The FCT Police Commissioner, Benneth Igweh confirmed the discovery of the corpse, ordered for an immediate investigation. |

· On 30th July. 2024, police operatives apprehended a man identified as Brendan Ugwu, in possession of a locally made gun around Dan Kogi Filling in Zuba, Abuja. The Federal Capital Territory Commissioner of Police, Benneth Igweh, confirmed the interception. CP Igweh further disclosed that two other suspected robbers, Mohammed and Miracle Felix had been arrested. · On 30th July. 2024, information has it that suspected hoodlums killed a teacher, Ismaila Umar, working with the Local Education Authority (LEA) Primary School, Old-Kutunku, in Gwagwalada Area Council of the FCT, around 10 pm. The spokeswoman of the FCT Police Command, SP Josphine Adeh, was yet to react on the incident. · On 31st July. 2024, operatives of the FCT police command attached to Pegi division have apprehended one Rahimat Salaum of Pedi in Kuje Area Council in connection with alleged killing of her husband. The commands ‘Public Relation Officer, Josphine Adeh, confirmed the arrest. · On 1st August. 2024, a 47-year-old farmer, Danile Jacob has been reportedly hacked to death by suspected herders on his farm in Dogon-Ruwa community in Gawuna Ward in Abaji Area Council of the FCT. A police source said, “The family of the deceased farmer reported the incident. A relative of the deceased, simply identified as Ishaya, confirmed the painful incident. |
