· On 10th September. 2024, it was gathered that the recent flooding incident in Bauchi State claimed 24 lives, left 163 people injured and destroyed properties valued at over N 22.3 billion across the 16 LGAs. The State Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management Hajiya Yakubu Wanks, disclosed after the State Executive Council Meeting, presided over by Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed. · On 13th September. 2024, intelligent gathering has it that Bauchi State Police Command has arrested two suspected hoodlums with a fabricated Ak-47 rifle and ammunition in Tafawa Balewa LGA. SP Ahmed Wakili, Police Public Relations Officer of the Command disclosed, said that the suspect was apprehended and the suspect travel from Plateau State to negotiate the sale of the rifle for N580,000. |

· On 11th September. 2024, information has it that the flooding that hit Maiduguri, Borno State Capital, has submerged hundreds of houses and destroyed a lot of properties. The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) confirmed that over 200,000 people were displaced. Adding the flooding followed the collapse of the Alau Dam, which overflowed its bank from about 10 kilometers away into the state capital. · On 12th September. 2024, credible gathering has it that the severe flooding which ravaged Maiduguri, the Borno State capital has claimed at least 30 lives, 1 million people affected, 719 persons had been rescued from rooftops, tree and floodwaters in different parts of Maiduguri and properties worth millions of naira destroyed. The Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) spokesman, Ezekeil Manzo and the Director-General of the State Emergency Management Barkindo, confirmed the incident. |

· On 09th September. 2024, credible information has it that operatives of the Edo State Police Command arrested two men, Mustapha Suleiman (27) and Isaac Jospeh (25), while they were attempting to sell a Toyota RAV4 (EKY 855 JJ) they stole from Lagos State in Benin. Moses Yamu, the command Spokesman, acknowledge the arrest, he said the suspects met with someone who wanted to buy the car for N4 million, but they insisted on selling it at N6 million. · On 10th September. 2024, Report has it that Edo State Police Command paraded an 18-year-old man, Kingsley Paul, for allegedly killing his lover (38), in a hotel, alongside 12 others for alleged involvement in crimes ranging from murder to kidnapping. The command spokesman, SP Moses Yamu, disclosed this while parading the suspects. · On 13th September. 2024, report has it that the Edo State Command of the Nigeria Security Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has nabbed three suspects over alleged cable vandalism. The suspects were alleged to have been arrested while attempting to steal armored cable in Benin City. The suspect, Friday Alex, Favour Orji and Daniel Biaru, were caught impersonating personnel of the local security network about 0200hr |

· On 13th September. 2024, the Ekiti State Police Command has charge to men, Adejo Emmanuel and Peter Timidayo, before an Ado-Ekiti Magistrates’ court over alleged thrift of a lady’s motorcycle valued at N 200,000, property of one Suleman Sunday. The magistrate granted them bail in the sum of N50,000 with a surety. |

· On 09th September. 2024, a 32-year-old man, Bashir Umar, had been arrested by the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), for inserting a pair of scissors into the genitals of an eight-year-old girl in Dutse LGA of Jigawa State. The state’s police spokesman, DSP Lawan Shi’isu Adam, confirmed the arrest. |

· On 09th September. 2024, intelligence gathering has it that soldiers arrested two suspected female bandits informants in SCC village in Kachia LGA Kaduna State. A vigilante in the area simply identified as Shehu, confirmed the arrest, said two women were arrested by soldiers at SCC Village market. · On 10th September. 2024, five people killed and several others kidnapped after bandits stormed Kallah Afogo in the Kajuru LGA of Kaduna State around 2315hrs breaking into houses to capture their victims. In a similar incident bandits launched another attack on Bakin Pah in the Maro Ward of the same LGA, where one person was killed and six others kidnapped. A community leader who preferred to remain anonymous, confirmed the incident and described the situation as worrisome. · On 10th September. 2024, in another incident, bandits abducted nurses at a Primary Health Care Centre at Layin Dan Aura village in Kuyello Ward, Birnin Gwari Area of Kaduna State. A youth leader in Kuyello, Baba Isah, confirmed the incident, and said it remains unclear if any patients were abducted, as most had already left the hospital. · On 12th September. 2024, credible information has it that 4 suspected bandits have been neutralised and seven abducted victims rescued after soldiers raided a bandit’s camp in the Kasangwai Forest in kagarko LGA of Kaduna State. A community leader who confirmed the incident, said that the bandits retreated after they were overpowered. · On 12th September. 2024, report has it that an accident involved a trailer truck and a passenger Hummer Bus heading for Kano and Batsari town in Katsina along the Abuja-Kaduna Expressway claimed 21 live. The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of Tafe Division, SP Idris Ibrahim, Confirmed the incident. |

· On 11th September. 2024, the police operatives in Kano State reportedly apprehended three suspects, Hisbullahi Salisu (30), Hassan Rabiu Ali (28) and Hassan Aliyu for kidnapping a four-year-old boy, Muhammed Nasir Jamilu, in Sharada Quarters of Kano City and taking him to Gwarzo. The state’s police spokesman, Haruna Kiyawa, confirmed the arrest, said that the principal suspect, Salisu a cousin of the victim, confessed to having conspired with the two other suspects to kidnap the victim. · On 12th September. 2024, report has it that Kano State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) has confirmed 49 persons killed and 226 communities affected by flood and windstorm in 27 LGAs of the state from January till date. · On 12th September. 2024, at least nine people have reportedly lost their lives in a road accident that occurred along popularly Zaria Road in Kura Local Government Area of Kano State, leaving three others with various degrees of injuries. The spokesperson for the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Kano State Command, Abdullahi Labaran, confirmed the accident. |

· On 13th September. 2024, report has it that bandits have killed three soldiers during an attack on a construction worker on the Funtua Gusau highway. According to eyewitness who preferred anonymity said that, was the second attack by the bandits on the same day, where a group of hoodlums blocked the Funtua -Gusau Highway, killed several people and abducted undisclosed number of travelers. |

· On 13th September. 2024, report has it that gunmen suspected to be hired assassins reportedly killed a petty businesswoman identified as, Mrs. Rose Eneojah at Etikpolo-Anyigba in Dekina LGA of Kogi State. City and Crime gather that three suspected assassin drove to the woman’s residential house around 8pmon Wednesday and shot her in the present of her husband and five children. The Police Public Relation officer (PPRO) in the State, SP Williams Aya, promised to revert on the incident. |

· On 09th September. 2024, operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), kwara State, apprehended seven suspected hoodlums during fuel hike protest by commercial vehicle operators Ilorin. Ayoola Micheal, the NSCDC spokesman confirmed the arrest, said the suspects robbed one Olusegun Taiwo on her way to the office on motorcycle, who took her bag, phones and other valuables. · On 09th September. 2024, information has it that the Ilorin Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) arrested 44 suspected internet fraudsters in the Sango, Kulende, Taxaco and Harmony Estate areas of Ilorin, Kwara State. Dele Oyewale confirmed the development, said the action followed credible intelligence information. |

· On 11th September. 2024, a 20-year-old barber has been killed by four suspected cult members in the Okokomaika area of Ojo in Lagos State around 2200hrs. Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident. Said investigation by the police revealed that the four gunmen shot the victim severally on the head, stomach and legs. · On 12th September. 2024, Fatimo Agboke 19-year-old woman, has been arrested over the alleged murder of her neighbour’s son in the Isheri-Oshun area of Lagos State. Lagos State Police spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the incident. |

· On 11th September. 2024, a thirty-eight-year-old Man, Gabriel Iliya Magaji, from Karu LGA of Nasarawa State, has reportedly committed suicide over alleged infidelity by his wife. DSP Nansel Rahman, Police Public Officer (PPRO) for Nasarawa State, Confirmed the incident. |

· On 09th September. 2024, information has it that forty people and over 50 cows burnt beyond recognition as a result of a petrol tanker explosion that occurred along Bida-Agaie-Lapai Road in Niger State. It was gathered that Alhaji Abdullahi Baba-Arah, Director-General, Niger Emergency Movement Agency (NEMA), confirmed this tragic incident in Minna. · On 10th September. 2024, a 27-year-old man, Muhammad Musa of Lafiagi-Zadi, Kataeregi ward in Katcha LGA of Niger State has been stabbed in his stomach farm by a suspected herder. Umar Danladi Haruna, who confirmed the attack, said the matter had been reported at the Kataeregi police division. · On 12th September. 2024, security operatives engaged terrorist in a gun battle and killed 12 suspects in Bassa community in Shiroro LGA of Niger State. The spokesman of the Niger State Police Command, SP Wasiu Abiodun, promised to revert with details. · On 13th September. 2024, credible intelligence has it that operatives of Department of State Service (DSS) in collaboration with troops of Nigeria Aire Force lashed out large number of bandits who attacked Bassa Kukokiss village, Allawa District, Shiroro Local Government Area of the State. The Deputy Director, Public Relations and Information at NAF, Kabiru Ali a Group Captain, said no fewer than 28 bandits were killed. |

· On 12th September. 2024, intelligence gathering has it that Amotekun Corps in Ondo State arrested a suspected teenager burglar, Sodiq Ayodokun, who uses a traditional bulletproof jacket. alongside 20 others who were accused of murder, armed robbery and kidnapping in various parts of the state. The commander of Amotekun Adetunji Adeleye, confirmed the arrest, said the suspects were napped following a credible intelligence. |

· On 10th September. 2024, the River State Police Command has busted a child trafficking ring, rescued 16 children in Ozuoba community in Obio/Akpor LGA and arrested a female suspect. SP Grace Iringe-Koko, the command’s spokesman, acknowledged the development. |

· On 10th September. 2024, bandits reportedly killed one person and abducted four others in Gumburawa village, situated near Usman Danfodio University on the outskirts of Sokoto city in Wamakko LGA of Sokoto State. A resident Malam Sa’idu Muhammad Gumburawa confirmed the incident. Added that the bandits operation lasted for about 30 minutes. |

· On 10th September. 2024, credible intelligence gathering has it that soldiers from the Nigerian Army’s 6 Brigade in Jalingo, Taraba State, apprehended the owner of an abandoned vehicle with registration number: Taraba KLD 652 XA in which an AK-47 rifle was discovered and other incriminating items hidden in it, Mallam Abubakar Adamu. Captain Oni Olubodunde, the deputy spokesman of the brigade disclosed this during interrogation. |

· On 09th September. 2024, two suspected transformer cable apprehended and beaten by mob after they allegedly stole transformer cables Kuchiako community in Kuje Area Council of the FCT. A resident Samaila Ibrahim, said the incident happened around 11pm when hoodlums invaded a transformer and allegedly removed its cables. · On 10th September. 2024, operatives of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command arrested a man, Alhaji Shuaibu Shugaba Dass, suspected to be a member of the Islamic Movement of Niger (IMN) known as Shi’ites for allegedly attempting to bribe police officers with a sum of N1.5 million cash in order to secure the release of one of its members, Abdulkareem Ahmed, who is in police custody. The Commissioner of Police, Federal CapiatalTerritory (FCT) CP Benneth Igweh, confirmed the arrest while parading the suspect at the command in Abuja. · On 10th September. 2024, credible Intelligence gathering reported three suspected kidnappers arrested during a gun battle between them and them and the operatives of the anti-kidnap unit of the FCT Police Command. The FCT Police Commissioner, Benneth Igweh, disclosed this while parading suspects at the command in Abuja. He gave the names of the suspects as Hussain Ori, aka Mugu; Aminu Adamu and Yawo Adamu. · On 10th September. 2024, gallant operatives of the FCT Police Command arrested a suspected armed robbery suspect identified as Abubakar Babangida, at Kurudu, an Abuja suburb. CP, Benneth Igweh acknowledged the arrest. CP Igweh further disclosed that other 70 criminal suspects were arrested during a raid conducted on some black spots by operatives. · On 11th September. 2024, FCT credible information has it that the Chief of Training and Operation at Defence Headquarters, Maj Gen Emeka Onumajuru, said that a total of 125, 517 terrorists and families have so far surrendered to troops. In a briefing addressed by the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa, in Abuja. · On 11th September. 2024, two men were reportedly killed in a motor accident around 1200hrs on the Abuja -Lokoja highway in Gada-Biyu in Kwali Area Council of the FCT. An official of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) who was part of the operation attributed the accident to speed limit violation. Added that the two men corpses were evacuated to the Kwali General Hospital. · On 11th September. 2024, operatives of the FCT Police Command have tracked a stolen Toyota Hilux to Rijana, Kaduna State. The FCT Police Commissioner, Benneth Igweh disclosed, said that the owner of the car, Mustapha Garba Lawal reported that his Hilux van with registration number: KUJ 892 Am, was stolen in the Jabi Upstairs area of Utako, Abuja. · On 11th September. 2024, suspected hoodlums reported stabbed a man, Moses Ajere, to death and stolen his motorcycle on the Leleyi-Bassa village road in Kwali Area Council of the FCT. Samson Kaura, a resident confirmed the incident, said it happened around 1800hrs when the victim was on his way to Leleyi village. |
