BENUE
• On 10th March 2025, intelligence driven efforts have it that eleven people killed in attacks and others sustained injuries by armed assailants on rural communities in Dikpo, Imande Gberihwa and Utange council ward in Katsina-Ala Local Government Area of Benue State. The Chairman of Katsina-Ala LGA, Justine Shaku, confirmed the attack.
EDO
• On 10th March 2025, information has it that eight passengers burnt to death, the incident occurred in the Agbede community, near Channel 5 when a truck from Benin to Auchi experienced brake failure and crashed into vehicles tuck in traffic. The Edo State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Cyril Mathew, confirmed the four vehicles involved in the accident.
• On 12th March 2025, following an intelligence gathering, operatives of the Edo State Police Command apprehended 10 suspects over alleged murder and kidnapping in the state. The police spokesman in the state, Moses Yamu, confirmed the arrest.
JIGAWA
• On 12th March 2025, at least 24 thatched houses and 16 granaries were burnt in a communal clash in Taura Local Government Are of Jigawa State. The police spokesman in the state, SP Lawan Shiisu, confirmed, said the incident occurred during a conflict between residents of two communities in the LGA.
KADUNA
• On 13th March 2025, bandits reportedly sacked five communities of Unguwan Tauka, Unguwan Lalle, Sonudazuwa, Tsauni Dodo and Dandauka, all under Kachia LGA of Kaduna State. A community leader in the area confirmed the incident, saying invaders abducted three teenage herders.
KANO
• On 10th March 2025, report has it that gunmen attacked the residence of Alhaji Yusha’u Ma’aruf, a private clinic proprietor in Zakirai Village, Gabasawa Local Government Area of the State. The Kano State Police Public Relation Officer, Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, confirmed the incident.

KEBBI
• On 10th March 2025, in a reprisal attack, suspected Lakurawa terrorists groups stormed Birnin Dede, a community in Arewa Local Government Area of Kebbi State killing 13 people with several injured victims taken to Federal Medical Centre, Birnin Kebbi, for treatment. The Chairman of Arewa Local Government Area, Sani Aliyu, confirmed the attack.
• On 12th March 2025, information has it that a suspected cerebrospinal meningitis outbreak killed 26s persons. The Kebbi State Government confirmed the outbreak of the disease, said the deaths were recorded from suspected cases of the disease that broke out in three LGAs of the state.
KOGI
• On 10th March 2025, suspected herders reportedly killed a farmer identified as Abuh Abutari and his brother at Abejukolo, the headquarter of Omala Local Government Araa of Kogi State. over destruction of farmland. The State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP William Aya, did not pick or respond to text messages sent to him.
KWARA
• On 10th March 2025, intelligence driven efforts have it that gunmen, numbering about four wielding Ak-47 rifles shot dead the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association (MACBAN) in Kwara State, Alhaji Idris Abubakar Sakina. The Kwara State Police Command confirms the incident.
LAGOS
• On 11th March 2025, gunmen stormed a hotel in the Satellite Town area of Ojo, Lagos and fatally shot a disc jockey (DJ) identified as Victor Dickson before fleeing the scene. The State Police Public Relation Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident.
• On 12th March 2025, detectives from the Lagos State Police Command apprehended a 26-year-old suspected leader of a notorious cult gang that had been terrorising residents of Agege, Fagba and Oju areas of Lagos. The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the arrest.
NASARAWA
• On 13th March 2025, following a violent clash between farmers and pastoralists in the Farin Duse community of Nasarawa Local Government Area, resulted to a pregnant woman and ten others dead. The Nasarawa State Police Command Confirmed the incident.
OGUN
• On 11th March 2025, information has it that four dead, 9 injured in a lone accident on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. The spokesperson of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Ogun State, Mrs. Florence Okpe, disclosed.
ONDO
• On 11th March 2025, at least 14 persons were reportedly killed by bandits in four communities of Akure-North Local Government Area of Ondo State. A police source, who confirmed the incident, said the gun-wielding men stormed the four communities at midnight
PLATEAU
• On 11th March 2025, following an intelligence gathering, the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) Kaduna Zonal Directorate apprehended 31 suspected illegal miners in Jos, Plateau State Capital. The EFCC Head, Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, confirmed the arrest.
• On 13th March 2025, Troops of Operation SAFE HAVEN (OPSH), a multi-security task force maintaining peace in Plateau and some parts of Bauchi and Kaduna States, successfully rescued seven kidnap victims, n in Ganawuri community of Riyom LGA of Plateau State. The spokesman of the operation, Major Samson Zhakom, confirmed the incident.
• On 14th March 2025, information has it that Troops of 3 Division and Operation SAFE HAVEN (OPSH) on the ongoing Operation LAFIYAN JAMA’A neutralized two suspected kidnappers and nabbed suspected gunrunners in village of Plateau and Kaduna States. Major Samson Zhakom, OPSH’s spokesman confirmed the operation.
SOKOTO
• On 14th March 2025, following an intelligence gathering, some bandits were reportedly killed during a failed attempt to rescue one of their members, who had been apprehended after robbing a commercial motorcyclist in Kurawa village, Sabon Birni Local Government Area of Sokoto State. a Resident who preferred anonymity confirmed.
FEDERAL CAPITAL TERRITORY (FCT)
• On 12th March 2025, credible gathering has it that suspected kidnappers invaded and abducted the village head of Dnako in Bwari Central Ward of the Bwari Area Council, HRH Etsu Yuda Garba, and seven other residents of the community. A police source in Bwari confirmed the incident.
• On 13th March 2025, following an intelligent gathering, the Officers-in-Charge of the Anti-kidnapping unit, neutralized a wanted banditry suspect, identified as Salisu Mohammed. The FCT Commissioner of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, confirmed the operation.
• On 14th March 2025, gunmen suspected to be bandits wearing army uniform and carrying AK 47 rifles reportedly shot dead two vigilante members and injured one other at Dogon Ruwa village in Abaji Area Council of the FCT. Abuja Metro gathered that the gunmen came through Zago-Chakumi village on the border of Abaji Area Council in the FCT with Niger State.
