· On 17th June. 2024, officers of the Special Operation Unit of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) busted a cartel controlled by a drug baron, Kelechi Monday Nwaobasi, 49-year-old, and his 50-year-old sister, Ms. Chinwe Rose Nwaobasi, alongside other siblings and seizure of cocaine and methamphetamine consignments worth over N4.1bn in street value from their hideout at 3B, Boundary Avenue in Aba, Abia State. Spokesman of the agency, Femi Babafemi, confirmed the development. · On 20th June. 2024, an intelligence gathering has it that the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), arrested some suspects for allegedly stealing crude oil in Abia State. In a statement by the NSCDC spokesman, Babawale Afolabi, said the suspects operated an illegal refinery in a forest at Umelechi Ukwa West Local Government Area of the State. He pledges a thorough investigation to ascertain the level of involvement. |

· On 18th June. 2024, police operatives in Anambra State intercepted one suspected gunrunner, Felix Owaya, 48-year-old with 375 live cartridges. The spokesman of the command, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, in a statement said the police operatives at Fegge division, while on patrol along Niger street, Onitsha, arrested the suspect from Ika South Local Government of Delta State. · On 19th June. 2024, information has it that gunmen in a red Highlander, abducted an unidentified man. The Anambra State Commissioner of Police Nnaghe Obono Itam, ordered an immediate manhunt for those who adducted a man in Nnewi LGA. The PPRO SP Tochukwu Ikenga, disclosed in a statement. He said during the gun duel, one of the security operatives was fatally hit and two passersby injured and later confirmed dead by the doctor. · On 19th June. 2024, the Anambra State Police Command has arrested four suspected members of the Eastern Security Network (ESN), a group linked to the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), in Ufuma, Orumba North. In a statement released by the spokesman of the command, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the police-led joint security force in Aguata carried out the operation based on intelligence indicating planned attacks on security personnel and civilians by the group. · On 21st June. 2024, no fewer than 10 shops were reportedly razed down caused by high tension cables at a section of Afor Nobi, a local market in Idemili South LGA of Anambra State. The President-General of the Anambra State Markets Amalgament Traders Association (ASMATA), Chief Humphrey Anuna, who visited the scene after the incident, confirmed that no life was lost. |

· On 21st June. 2024, a man identified as Yunusa was reportedly killed by a mob after allegedly making blasphemous comments against Prophet Muhammad at the Nasaru Police outposts in Ningi Local Government Area of Bauchi State. Bauchi State Police Command confirmed the incident. In a statement signed by the commands PRO, SP Ahmed Mohammed, who condemned the action that led to the loss of life and stressed the importance of upholding the law. |

· On 18th June. 2024, it was gathered that at least two people have been repeatedly killed and three injured after a clash between officers of the Livestock Guards and alleged herdsmen in Kwuan community near the Modern Market in Makurdi, Benue State. The Special Adviser to the Benue State Governor on Internal Security, Chief Joseph Har, confirmed the incident. He added that the livestock guards were attacked by armed herdsmen. · On 18th June. 2024, 13 suspects have been arrested in two suburbs of Makurdi metropolis in Benue State for assaulting security operatives on duty. The Special Adviser (SA) to the Governor on Internal Security, Chief Joseph Har, disclosed that two of the suspects were apprehended in the Wadata area while the remaining 11 were arrested on Awe Street in the Wurukum area. · On 19th June. 2024, three suspected kidnapers arrested by personnel of the Community Volunteer Guards in Otukpo Motor Park LGA attempting to leave for Makurdi, the state capital, when information reached the guards, thereby leading to their arrest. The Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO) Benue Command, Catherine Anene, confirmed the incident. · On 20th June. 2024, gunmen on bikes reportedly killed seven people in an attack on Gugu market in Kpav of Katsina-Ala LGA, Benue State. Justine Shaku, the council chairman of katsina-Ala LGA, confirmed that people were killed in his locally. When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, Benue State Command, SP Cathrine Anene, said she was not yet aware of the incident. · On 20th June. 2024, following an intelligent information received, the Police in Benue State arrested three persons suspected to be internet fraudster in Kigh village along the dilapidated Makurdi-Naka Road in Gwer West LGA. Spokeswoman for the command, SP Cathrine Anene, in a statement on Wednesday, said the trio were apprehended during police raid on the criminal hideout. Added that two iPhone, five laptops, different ATM cards suspected to be used for fraud and five 9mm live ammunition recovered. |

· On 18th June. 2024, following the CP, Olufemi Abaniwonda, order, the Delta State Police Command has launched a manhunt for a man, Sankey Ovemureye, who allegedly killed his daughter by smashing her head against a wall in Uviama New Layout, Agbarho, in Ughelli North LGA. The spokesman of the command, Bright Edafe, disclosed. · On 19th June. 2024, operatives of the Delta State Police Command arrested two suspected drug paddlers, Emeka Ozumu (49) and Patrick Otukam (30) with 13 bottles of Codeine, 23 sachets of tramadol and hard drugs. The commissioner of Police in the state, confirmed the development and urged the youths to shun all forms of crime and stay away from drug abuse. · On 20th June. 2024, intelligent report has it that the Delta State Police Command arrested one Felix Egbe (37), a former youth secretary of Oteri community in Ughelli North LGA of Delta State over alleged cultism and armed robbery. The PPRO of the Command, SP Bright Edafe, also disclosed that two other suspects, Lucky Victor (20) and Godbless Oghenevegba (20), were also arrested at Igwere Quarters, Aladja, over alleged armed robbery. Items recovered from the suspects were one Beretta pistol, one locally made gun, cartridges, a knife and a phone. |

· On 17th June. 2024, following months of intelligence gathering, operatives of the Edo State Police Command reportedly killed a suspected kidnapper on Amedokhian-Ugboha road in Uromi town in Esan North-East LGA. The commissioner of Police (CP), Funsho Adegboye, confirmed the development. · On 18th June. 2024, information has it that operatives of the Edo State Police Command arrested one Akpasa Ustin Iniosa, over alleged killing of a member of the Edo State Security Network, Samuel Aigbedion Osagie. The suspect was arrested with the aid of CCTV footage. · On 18th June. 2024, suspect identified as Miracle Woruka, arrested at Ubiane Quarters in Aviele community, Etsake West local Government Area of the state with arms and ammunition by the police command in the state. The Commissioner of Police in the State, Funsho Adgboye, confirmed the development, he said suspect was arrested in collaboration with vigilante group and hunters. |

· On 19th June. 2024, gunmen on a motorcycle reportedly shot dead a middle-aged man Samuel Omoyajowo, in who is a ticking officer for commercial motorcyclists in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State. The Chairman, Okada Riders Association in Ekiti State, Mr. Kunle Asaolu, confirmed the development. The Police spokesman in Ekiti State, DSP Sunday Abutu, also confirmed the attack and killing, saying investigation had commenced. · On 21st June. 2024, a Point of Sale (POS) operator, popularly called Alfa, in Ado-Ekiti, along the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH), has been shot and killed by unknown gunmen who came on motorbike. His body has been deposited at the EKSUTH morgue. There was no immediate response from the police as at the time of filing this report. |

· On 17th June. 2024, intelligence report has it that police operatives from the Shell Camp Division, Owerri, Imo State, have arrested a suspected armed robber, Ogochukwu Favour David, while on routine patrol on Bank Road, Owerri. The spokesman of the police command, Henry Okoye, said the operatives sighted some hoodlums robbing a young woman, reacted immediately and arrested one of them, while others escaped. He added that a locally made pistol was recovered in the suspect’s possession. |

· On 19th June. 2024, the Jigawa State Police Command has arrest 27 suspects in connection with various criminal offences, including armed robbery, kidnapping, theft and drugs. The police spokesman in the state, DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam, confirmed the incident. He said the suspects were arrested with various exhibits, including a fabricated pistol, three motorcycles, a tricycle, a cow, three sheep, three handsets an iron rod, and the sum of N792,000. Large quantity of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp and drugs recovered. · On 17th June. 2024, Intelligence gathering has it that the Jigawa State Police Command announced the arrest of a suspect, Mahmud Adam (43), involved in a car theft and recovery of a stolen SUV in Gwaram LGA. The commands spokesman, DSP Shiisu Adam, confirmed the arrest. He said the suspects was arrested after receiving a report that a Honda CRV with registration number DKD 10 AG, belonging to one Abba Yahya of Gano town, Dawakin Kudu LGA of Kano State, was stolen and was heading towards Maiduguri, Borno State. |

· On 18th June. 2024, information has it that most residents of Kuturu community in Kachia LGA of Kaduna State have fled their homes following a gun battle between soldiers and bandits in the Kuturu Forest. The spokesman of the Kaduna State Police Command, ASP Hassan Mansur, was yet to react to the development. · On 18th June. 2024, bandits launched a deadly attacked in broad daylight on Ewehko community under Maro Ward in Kajuru LGA of Kaduna State and killed five villagers who were attending a meeting and set motorcycles on fire. A resident, Benjamin Maro, while confirming the incident said, “Another tragic incident has occurred in our community today”. The state government and the police command were yet to issue a statement on the attack as at the time of filing this report. · On 20th June. 2024, bandits reportedly short dead a 27-year-old man identified as Abba, after he delivered a N16 million ransom and three motorcycles for the release of nine victims they abducted in Jere town in Kaduna State. the spokesman of the Kaduna State Police Command, ASP Hassan Mansur, was yet to confirm the development. |

· On 21st June. 2024, report has it that the police in Kano State confirmed the death of a vigilante group leader, identified as Muktar Garba Baballiya and two policemen S.C Wasilu Umar and P.C Abdulmalik Yusuf, who were injured in Jaen community, Gwale LGA. Report revealed that he was stabbed when he was trying to intervene in a dispute between thugs in Jaen Makera and Jaen Unguwar Lalle. He was confirmed dead after been rushed to Murtala Muhammed Specialist Hospital. |

· On 18th June. 2024, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), noted that the Air Component of Operation Hadarin Daji, has eliminated more than 80 terrorists in recent air strikes at Gidan Kare Village of Ruwan Godiya Ward in Faskare Local Government Area of Katsina State. · On 17th June. 2024, report has it that the Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Professor Akin Abayomi, confirmed that the recent cholera outbreak in the state with 350 suspected cases had been reported across 29 wards in many LGAs with 17 confirmed cases and 15 fatalities. He said, the laboratory investigation and test results have so far confirmed cholera sub-type 0-1. · On 17th June. 2024, report has it that the Police Command Lagos State has confirmed that the Managing Director of Fouani Company and three of his Lebanese brothers are still being held captive by gunmen. The PPRO, Lagos State Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident, aged we are actively managing the situation. · On 19th June. 2024, gunmen raided the residence of the founder of Nigeria Liberty Movement (NLM), a new political movement, Dr. Moses Adebisi. The attack resulted in damage of property, including CCTV, security wire, a Prado jeep, Toyota Hummer Bus, doors and other items. Adebisi said the case had been reported at the Ikota Police Division. · On 19th June. 2024, Detectives from Ojo Police Division Stormed a riverine community in the Ojo area of Lagos allegedly used by criminal gangs for the distribution of illicit drugs and arrested a suspect with 407 parcels of Arizonna brand of Indian hemp, a total of 497 parcels of substance suspected to be Arizonna hard drug were recovered. Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the arrest. |

· On 18th June. 2024, armed gunmen launched an attack at the headquarter of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Nasarawa State. The command’s spokesman, Mr. Jerry Victor, who confirmed the incident, said, “An unspecified number of gunmen suspected to bandits invaded the headquarters of NSCDC at exactly 3am but the personnel of the command were courageous and gallant enough to repel the attack. |

· On 21st June. 2024, report has it that one person identified as Abdulkadir Musa, a.ka. Kure reportedly killed while five others, including a vigilante, were injured in a clashed between hoodlums christened Sara-Suka and members of Vigilante Corps at Dadin-Kowa and Tudun-Wada areas of Kontagora LGA of Niger State. The spokesperson of the Niger State Police Command, SP Wasiu Abiodun, confirmed the incident, saying normalcy has been restored by the police. |

· On 17th June. 2024, two persons lost their lives and three others sustained injuries in a road crash involving a Howo truck without registration number and a blue Toyota Camry car with registration number APP 478FS along the Sagamu-Ijebu- Ode Road. The spokesperson for the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Ogun State, Florence Okpe, confirmed the incident in Abeokuta. |

· On 17th June. 2024, the corpses of a man and a woman suspected to be lovers have been found in a room in the Ayeyemi area in Ondo city, headquarters of Ondo West LGA of Ondo State. The Police spokeswoman in Ondo State, SP Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, confirmed the incident the development. |

· On 19th June. 2024, information has it that the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Zone 11 Command, which cover Osun, Ondo and Oyo States, confirmed 9 people death, 79 individuals sustained varying degrees of injuries in 13 road accidents during the first three days of the Sallah holiday. Acting Zonal Commanding Officer Leye Adegboyega, reviewed the command’s special Sallah operation, in a statement issued in Osogbo, the Osun State capital. |

· On 18th June. 2024, intelligence gathering has it that the soldiers of Operation Safe Haven (OPSH), the special military task force keeping peace in Plateau State and parts of Bauchi and Kaduna States, arrested six suspected bandits and recovered weapons and 47 rustled cows in the Manguna area in Bokkos LGA of Plateau States. Maj Gen Abdusalam Abubakar, the General Officer Commanding of OPSH, disclosed this in a statement in Jos, the State Capital. · On 18th June. 2024, information has it that the sacrificial ram of the Chief Imam of Mista Ali Mosque in Bassa LGA of Plateau State, Imam Abdulkadir, was stolen before the sacrificial right of the Eid El-Babir. Effort to get the reaction of the Police Public Relations Officer in the State, DSP Alfred Alabo, proved abortive. · On 19th June. 2024, report has it that the Plateau State Police Command has confirmed the death of a trader, Nasiru Abubaka, who was shot death and two people injured, while five vehicles were burnt during an enforcement operation by the task force of the Jos Metropolitan Development Board (JMDB). The spokesman of the command, DSP Alfred Alabo, confirmed the incident in a statement. He added that normalcy had since been restored in the area and warned against criminal intention within the state to either deceit or flee the state. |

· On 19th June. 2024, at least two people killed as youths loyal to Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State moved to enforce the eviction of local government chairman in the state following the expiration of three-year tenure of the elected chairmen’s of LGA and ward councilors. Rivers State Police Command Public Relation Officer, SP Grace Iringe Koko, confirmed the killing of a policeman and member of Omuma Security Planning and Advisory Committee (OSPAC) in Omuma Local Government Area of the state. |

· On 17th June. 2024, Ahmed Rufai, the spokesperson of the Sokoto State Police Command, confirmed the attacked by armed bandits who reportedly killed at least six people on Tudun Doki village in Gwadabawa Local Government Area of Sokoto State as Muslims celebrate Eid-el Kabir. Rufai said six bodies were recovered after the attack, adding that the number of abducted people was yet to be established. |

· On 18th June. 2024, report has it that no fewer than five people reportedly killed while others sustained injuries during a clash that occurred between Tiv and Fulani at Maraba Azagwa in Maihula area, Bali Local Government Area in Taraba State. The acting Police Public Relation Officer, Taraba State Police Command, DSP Kwache Gambo, confirmed the incident. |

· On 17th June. 2024, suspected armed robbers shot dead one Bashir Dauda, who invaded Volcano Peak Court Hotel, 4th Avenue, Gwarimpa Estate, Abuja in the FCT. The spokeswoman of the FCT Police Command, SP Adeh Josphine, confirmed the incident in a statement. She further said, the victim was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre (FCM) in Jabi where doctors confirmed him dead. · On 17th June. 2024, following an intelligence gathering Muhammad Kabir, have been reportedly arrested by the police in the FCT for allegedly trying to kidnap his neighbour, Abdulwahab Yusuf, at the Shagari Quarters in Zuba in Gwagwalada Area Council. Yusuf reported the matter at the Zuba Division, and he was arrested. · On 19th June. 2024, report indicated that at least two persons were confirmed dead and many injured in an accident involving a trailer who lost control and rammed into five other vehicles along the Abuja-keffi Expressway. The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) sector commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Chorrie Isah Muta’a, said two persons had so far been confirmed death. He said personnel were deployed to the scene of the accident to control traffic. · On 21st June. 2024, information has it that a journalist identified as Joel Waksi, in Atar Communication, owners of Liberty TV/Radio found dead, five days after he was declared missing. The Group General Manager (GGM), Atar Communication, Balarabe Muhammad, while confirming the incident, said the police in Mpape division said his corpse sighted close to the Panteka area in the community and was taken to Kubwa General Hospital morgue. He said he was stabbed around his neck and his phone was missing. · On 21st June. 2024, three male passengers were trapped to death while 14 others sustained injuries when an 18-seater commuter Hiace bus rammed into a tanker at Kamadi junction, along the Abuja-Lokoja Highway. The 14 other passengers rescued were taken to Hospital, as well as Rhema Clinic in Kwali town by officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC). · On 21st June. 2024, there was tension in Kugbo spare parts market on the Abuja-Keffi Expressway as a yet-to-be identified soldier allegedly stabbed an electrician identified as “yellow” to death. Effort to get the reaction of the Police Public Relations Officer in the FCT, Josphine Adeh, proved abortive as several calls to her phone did not connect. |
