· On 21st October. 2024, information has it that a tragedy occurred during the Nibo community celebration of the Onwa Asaa festival leading to eight people killed in Nibo community, Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State. The Police Public Relations Officers (PPRO), SP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed this incident. · On 24th October. 2024, information gathered has reported eight people killed by gunmen in Ifite, Awka South Local Government Area (LGA) of Anambra State. The state Police Public Relations Officer, Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the incident, said the police team have taken over the scene, promising to give further details later. |

· On 21st October. 2024, intelligence gatherings have it that one police inspector whose identity is yet to be known was reportedly killed when some gun men attacked quarry workers in Edo State. It was learnt that one other police officer, (orderly) and expatriate working with the company also sustained various degree of injuries during the attack. The Edo State Command Spokesperson, Moses Yamu, confirmed the incident. · On 22nd October. 2024, information has it that the Enugu State government confirmed a Cholera outbreak in the state, saying 10 fatalities linked to the disease have been recorded. The Director of Medical Services on behalf of the state’s commissioner of health, Samuel Egwuonwu, confirmed the outbreak. |

· On 21st October. 2024, information has it that two decayed bodies of two young girls reportedly found in a bush at Oke-Oja Street in Aremoko-Ekiti, Ekiti State by operatives of Amotekun Corps in the State. The head of communications, of the corps, Mr. Adeleye Abiodun, confirmed the remains of the girls who were murdered in the bush. · On 21st October. 2024, in another development, the Amotekun Corps, apprehended one Segun Asamolepo, at Oke-bola, for allegedly stealing government property meant for the construction of the flyover at Ijigbo area in Ado Ekiti. Also, a 56-year-old man Ayo Kayode, was allegedly caught at Efon Alaaye for stealing chicken. The two suspects have been since handed over to the Police for further investigations. |

· On 23rd October. 2024, information has it that the Jigawa State Governor, Umar Namadi, said the tragic tanker explosion on October 15 resulted in the deaths of 181 people, with 80 individuals still receiving medical treatment and 210 families impacted by the disaster. He noted that the president had instructed the Coro Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRCS) to investigate the incident and propose a lasting solution to prevent such occurrences. |

· On 21st October 2024, intelligence gathering has it that soldiers apprehended a driver simply identify as Shehu Bala and two others suspects for allegedly being in possession of stolen cows at the Bishini Junction in Kachia LGA of Kaduna State. A security source who preferred anonymity and was part of the operations confirmed the arrest of the driver and two other suspects. He said they were apprehended upon receiving intelligence information that the suspect was conveying four stolen cows from Akoti village in Kagarko to Katari market to sale. · On 21st October. 2024, hoodlums reportedly killed two herders and rustled several cows and sheep at the Kurutu village in Kachia LGA of Kaduna State. A community leader from the area, confirmed the incident said the bandits, who came in a large number from Amana-Dam Forest wielding Ak-47 rifles, invaded a Fulani settlement and gunned down two herders on the sport. · On 24th October. 2024, intelligence gathering has it that bandits abducted four farmers and stolen food items at Arikon village in Kachia LGA of Kaduna State. A community leader in the area confirmed the incident, said the bandits came on motorcycles. |

· On 23rd October. 2024, bandits attacked a Mobile Police (Mopol) base in Garagi, Yartsamiyar Jino Village in Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State. Residents acknowledged the attack said the incident resulted in four security officers deaths, with one sustaining injury, two civilians from the local community killed by the attackers. |

· On 24th October. 2024, information has it that two hoodlums suspected to be kidnappers identified as Umoru Garuba and Salifu Adamu, reportedly arrested around 1400hrs in a joint operation involving the police and vigilantes at the Ibobo-Abocho community in Dekina Local Government of Kogi State. A resident, Salami Abdullahi, a resident and member of the community policing in the area, confirmed the arrest. |

· On 21st October. 2024, the police in Lagos have commenced a manhunt of a 48-year-old man, Kadiri Yusuf alias Alado, for allegedly brutalizing two of his children in the Orile Agege area of Logas. The Lagos State Police Public Relation Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident, said efforts are on to apprehend the suspect. · On 21st October. 2024, credible intelligence gathering has it that Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA)at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) Ikeja Lagos State have apprehended two businessmen: Ihejiriks Okechukwu Emmanuel and Iwuagwu Ikedi Victory as well as a Canadian -based nurse Usman Grace Khadijat Olami, for attempting to import and export cocaine pellets and parcels of loud, a synthetic strain of cannabis the airport respectively. Spokesman for the NDLEA, Femi Babafemi confirmed the arrest.
· On 22nd October. 2024, detectives from the Lagos State Police Command arrested a 42-year-old teacher, Gbolahan Osinusi, for allegedly having a sexual intercourse with a student for five years right from when she was 12 years old. The spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the arrest, said that the nurse, who allegedly performed the abortion, identified as Mariam Fatolu, is now on the run.
· On 24th October. 2024, intelligence gathering has it that detectives from the zone 2 Police Command, Onikan, Lagos State, arrested a 36 -year-old suspected cultist, Ibrahim Babatunde, with two locally made pistols and two rounds of ammunition. Spokesman of the Zone 2, SP Ummar Ayuba confirmed the arrest, said this suspect was apprehended following an intelligence gathered. |

· On 23r October. 2024, at least three people reportedly lost their lives on Bangi-Kotonkoro Road in Mariga LGA of Niger State when bandits opened fire on their vehicles. A survivor, Alhaji Shehu, said the driver of his vehicle, a lady and another victim identified as Alhaji Ibrahim were killed. · 24th October. 2024, credible information has it that three suspects including two private school guards, have been apprehended by vigilantes for vandalising the electricity transformer on Okada Road, Dutsen-Kuran-Hausa area Minna, Niger State Capital. A community, who preferred anonymity, said the suspects were nabbed around 1030hrs after they had successfully dismantled the transformer and were about to move them out of the area. |

· 24th October. 2024, report has it that residents of Agbado Ijoko, in Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State, raised concerns as flood took over the major road, which links to Sango inhibiting flow of both human and vehicular movements. A resident, Elizabeth Agoboye, confirmed the incident. · On 24th October. 2024, operatives of the police I. Ogun State arrested a 31-year-old Islamic Cleric (Alfa), Jubril Dalamun, for allegedly defiling a 12 -year-old girl in the Ijebu North Local Government Area of the state. The Police Spokesman in the state, Omolola Odutola, confirmed the suspect arrest and victim taken to a hospital in Ago Iwoye for medical examination and treatment. |

· On 23rd October. 2024, intelligence gathering has it that the Osun State Security Network Agency also known as Amotekun Corps apprehended four ex-convicts and other suspects for various crimes. This was made known at the Corps Headquarters in Osogbo by the Commander of the Amotekun in the state, Omoyele Isaac. |

· On 23rd October. 2024, report has it that nineteen people, including five personnel of the Nigerian Air force (NAF), died in a ghastly motor accident at the Hawan Kibo Area of Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State. The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Plateau State Command’s spokesman, Peter Yakubu, confirmed the accident. The NAF spokesman, Olusola Akinboyewa, confirmed the accident, said the vehicle the deceased were traveling in had a head-on collision with an incoming truck. · 24th October. 2024, intelligence gathering has it that the Plateau State Police Command uncovered a ‘Yahoo-Yahoo’ academy and arrested 13 suspected fraudsters in Rantya community of Jos South Local Government Area. The Commissioner of Police, Emmanuel Adesina, confirmed the development while parading the suspects at the command headquarters. |

· On 24th October. 2024, information gathered that operatives of the Rivers State Police Command said it has apprehended four people over the disappearance of Mr. Yahaya Faruk, a National Youth Service Corps Member who was deployed to Community Secondary School Ikuru Town in River State. The command public relations officer, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, confirmed the development. · On 24th October. 2024, three persons reportedly killed in a helicopter crash in Port Harcourt, the River State Capital. It was confirmed by the spokesperson of the ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Odutayo Oluseyi. He added that investigation is currently ongoing to ascertained the cause of the accident. |

· Yobe On 22nd October. 2024, credible intelligence gathering has it that the Yobe State Police Command apprehended a gunrunner one Hamsatu Modu (54) of Morami Village, Jakana Konduga LGA, Borno State, for allegedly trafficking ammunition from Buni Yadicto Damaturu, the state capital. The Public Relations Officer of the Command, DSP Dungus Abdulkarim confirmed the arrest, said swift action led to the interception of a Golf 3 Salon car, and a thorough search revealed 350 rounds of live ammunition concealed in the suspect’s luggage. |

· On 21st October. 2024, report has it that bandits have abducted the Zamfara State Coordinator of the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), Alhaji Bashir Abara Gummi and several others along the funtua-Gusau Road. It was gathered that the Zamfara State’s Auditor General, Alhaji Abubakar Dan Maliki, narrowly escaped the bandits as he was able to maneuver his way out of the scene where the kidnapping took place. · On 22nd October. 2024, credible information reported that bandits launched a deadly attack along the Tsafe-Funtua road in Zamfara State, killing multiple travelers and abducting others. a resident, Musa Yusuf confirmed the incident, said that security personnel, including members of the DSS, Police, and Zamfara Community Protection Guards (CPG), arrived shortly after the attack, consoled survivors and pursued the bandits, thought it was gathered that they later returned without recovering the victims. |

· On 22nd October. 2024, the Principal of Rehabilitation Centre, Kuchiko, Bwari Area Council, FCT Comrade Bala Tsoho, reportedly Found dead. It was gathered that a piece of wood, believed to have been used to hit the head was found at the scene, while two of his mobile phones were missing. The Divisional Police Officer in charge of Bwari, CSP Babayola Muhammad, had confirmed the incident. · On 23rd October. 2024, following a raid on the kidnapper’s hideout at Kweri forest that borders Kaduna and the FCT has it that operatives of the Anti-Kidnap Unit of the FCT Police Command have apprehended three suspected kidnappers for allegedly abducting some pastors of ECWA Church in Bwari Area Council of the FCT. CP Olatunji Disu confirmed the arrest while parading the suspects at the command in Abuja. He added the Police Commissioner said exhibits recovered included two Ak-47 rifles, 85 rounds of live 7.62 ammunition 3 Ak-47 magazines and one locally made gun. · On 23rd October. 2024, information has it that a woman and her two male children sustained bullets wounds after some suspected hoodlums invaded an FCDA director’s apartment at Unguwar Zango in that Gwagwalada Area Council of the FCT. It was gathered that a neighbors identified as Ibrahim Abubakar, who confirmed the hoodlums attack, said it happened around 1223hrs when hoodlums carrying pistols and machetes invaded the compound. · On 24th October. 2024, intelligence gathering has it that Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command has arrested nine suspects for vandalism of critical national assets and infrastructure, which include streetlights, bridges, communication masts, armored cables and other critical assets and infrastructure. The FCT Commandant of the NSCDC, Olusola Odumosu confirmed the arrest while parading the suspects at the Command Headquarters. |
