· On 26th February 2025, operatives of the Bauchi State Police Command arrested a 25-year-old woman, Salamatu Danjuma, for allegedly stabbing her husband to death following disagreement over the custody of her six years old daughter, at Nadabo village in Tafawa Balewa LGA of the State. The command’s public relations officer, CSP Ahmed Wakil, confirmed the arrest. |

· On 27th February 2025, credible intelligences gathering has it that gunmen abduct 4 female students of the Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University (JOSTUM) formerly as the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi (FUAM), when gunmen men accosted them at the North Core campus and took them away. The Police Public Relations Officers (PPRO), CSP Catherine Anene, confirmed the incident. |

· On 27th February 2025, following an attack that occurred 15 kilometers from Damboa-Maiduguri highway, seven people killed and several others wounded in Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State. A Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), source, confirmed the attack and victim. |

· On 26th February 2025, at least 5 people died, and 20 others are missing after two boats collided and capsized in Warri South Local Government Are of Delta State. The spokesman for the Delta State Police Command, Edafe Bright, confirmed the accident, and described the scene as chaotic. |
· On 24th February 2025, seven people were confirmed dead while six others sustained injuries in a clash between cocoa farmers and suspected hoodlums in Gbelemoti community in Ovia South-West LGA of Edo State. The state police command’s spokesman, CSP Moses Yamu, acknowledged the incident. · On 24th February 2025, operatives of the Edo State Police Command arrested a man identified as Tega Best, for allegedly staging his own kidnap in Edo State. The Police Spokesman in the State, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, confirmed arrest. · On 25th February 2025, operatives of the Edo State Police Command apprehended one Kelvin Izekor over the alleged murder of his wife Success Izekor (38). The spokesman of the Command, CSP Moses Yamu, confirmed the arrest. · On 27th February 2025, information has it that gunmen killed the vigilante chairman in Erah community, Owan Eat local Government Area of Edo State, Victor Ogedengbe in his farm. The state police spokesperson, CSP Moses Yamu, confirmed the incident. · On 28th February 2025, operatives of the Edo State Police Command apprehended two suspects over alleged murder of a 7-year-old Evan Okojabhole. The Police spokesperson in the state, CSP Moses Yamu, confirmed the arrest. |

· On 28th February 2025, six people were confirmed dead when a truck transporting foodstuff lost control and overturned at the Ugwu-Onyema section of the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway in Enugu State. The Enugu State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Mr. Franklin Agbakobo, confirmed the incident. |

· On 25th February 2025, following an intelligence gathering, operatives of the Gombe State Police Command arrested a 52-year-old man, Vincent Ojo, with 495 kilograms of substance suspected to be Indian hemp valued at 12, 652,000.00. The Command Public Relations Officer DSP Buhari Abdullahi, confirmed the arrest. |

· On 24th February 2025, information was revealed that a tragic bus fire in Jigawa State near Government Girls Unity Secondary Gwaram, Gwaram LGA of Jigawa State, claimed the lives of four passengers and left ten others injured. The spokesperson Jigawa State Police Command, SP Liwan Shiisu Adam, confirmed the accident and cautioned drivers against reckless speeding. |

· On 25th February 2025, Armed bandits abducted the Wakili of Janjala, Alhaji Atah Adamu Wakili, a nursing mother and 37 other residents of the community located in Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State. A community leader who preferred anonymity confirmed the incident. |

· On 26th February 2025, credible gathering has it that the Gender Section of the Lagos State Police Command, apprehended a 46-year-old man, Ibrahim Gafaru, over unlawful carnal knowledge of his wife’s younger sister. The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident. · On 27th February 2025, intelligence gathering has it that two suspected members of a gang of car snatchers operating in Lagos State, Olayinka Bakare and Udeh Micheal arrested by policemen attached to Surulere Division of the Lagos State Police Command. · On 28th February 2025, information has it that nine farmers lost their lives, and six other farmers lost their lives in an attack by armed bandits on Karaga village, Bassa Ward, in Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State. Efforts to obtain comments from the Commissioner for Homeland Security, Brigadier General Bello Abdullahi Mohammed (Rtd), were unsuccessful. |

· On 25th February 2025, it was gathered that nine persons died while three others sustained in the Ayetoro area of the Lagos- Ibadan expressway, involving a Toyota Hiace bus marked UYY165ZY and a truck with the registration number DKA244XC. The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ogun State Command, Florence Okpe, confirmed the accident in Abeokuta. |

· On 27th February 2025, intelligence driven gathering has it that gunmen suspected to be kidnappers killed two police officers during a foiled kidnapping operation around Litle Rayfield community of Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State. · On 26th February 2025, an accident at Tashan Illela, a mini garage on the outskirts of Sokoto metropolitan, resulted in the loss of three lives with several people injured. The Sokoto State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Hassan Maikano, confirmed the incident. |

· On 26th February 2025, information has it that an auto crash involving a truck loaded with cement and passengers along the Damaturu- Maiduguri Road claimed the lives of 10 people and three others rushed to hospital with varying degrees of injuries. The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Dungus Abdulkarim, confirmed the incident. |

· On 25th February 2025, credible gathering has it that at least 103 shops have been razed by fire, which gutted the perishable items section of the Central Market, Gusau in Zamfara State. The Chairman of the Perishable Items Sellers Association, Alhaji Inusa Saminu, confirmed the incident. |
