SECURITY INCIDENCES_
ADAMAWA

·         On 26th November. 2024, report has it that four minors arrested for allegedly gang raping a 17-year-old girl after intoxicating her with beer. The Police Public Relations Officer in Adamawa State, SP Sulaimato Yahayo Ngurojo, confirmed the incident, saying the suspects were all students at Government Secondary School Sugu in Ganye Local Government.

·         On 28th November. 2024, the Adamawa State Police Command apprehended two individuals in connection with the murder of a police officer, Ibrahim Maizabuwa, who allegedly destroyed a pot of soup at a house in Wamsa Suwa Ward in Lamurde LGA of the state. The spokesman in the state, SP Suleiman Yohaya Nguroje, confirmed the arrest.

ANAMBRA

·         On 25th November. 2024, joint security operatives, comprising the police and Anambra Vigilantes, reportedly naturalized a member of an armed robbery gang operating along the NkwoEnugu Ukwu road. The Anambra Police Command’s spokesman Tochukwu Ikenga. Confirmed the incident, said the operatives engaged the criminals in a gun duel. He added an AK-47 rifle, two magazines and five rounds of ammunition recovered.

·         On 27th November. 2024, the operatives of the Anambra State Police Command apprehended a suspected armed robber, identified as Enediong Bassey, who was recruited into the state’s vigilante group but fled with a pump Action gun for a robbery operation. The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the incident

BAUCHI ·         On 28th November. 2024, following an intelligence gathered the Anti-Kidnapping Unit, Bauchi State Police Command in collaboration with other security agencies, has apprehended two individuals believed to be bandits informants in the Alkaleri area of Bauchi. SP Mohammed Wakil, the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) confirmed the arrest in a statement,
BENUE ·         On 26th November. 2024, intelligence gathering has it that at least 30 people were gunned down and many others injured following gunmen attacked. The Charmin of Katsina-Ala LGA, Justine Shaku, confirmed the attack, said many people were killed in his area and valuable property destroyed.
BORNO ·         On 26th November. 2024, following a credible intelligence gathering, the clash between troops of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF), resulted in the deaths of many Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorists, along with three soldiers, while several others sustained injuries, on Kukawa town, located near Lake Chad in Borno State. Borno State governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, commended the military and urged residents to support the armed forces with actionable intelligence.  Lieutenant Colonel Olaniyi Osoba, Chief Military Information Officer of the MNJTF Headquarters in N’Djamena, Chad confirmed development, He added that weapons, 40 bikes, anti-aircraft guns among others captured.
DELTA

·         On 27th November. 2024, report has it that five passengers died in a boat misshaped at Benneth Island in Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South-West Local Government Area, Delta State. Spokesman of the police command, SP Bright Edafe, confirmed the accident in Warri, said six other passengers injured in the accident and 29 people were rescued.

·         On 27th November. 2024, following a credible intelligence gathering, the operatives of CP- Special Assignment Team, Delta State Police Command apprehended seven suspects for allegedly dealing in illicit drugs in the state. The Spokesman of the command, SP Bright Edafe, confirmed the arrest, said a Toyota Camry with registration number KJA 996 BH used in the distribution of the drugs was recovered.

·         On 27th November. 2024, intelligence investigations have it that the Delta State Police Command apprehended three suspected armed robbers in Abraka and Okuokoko in Okpe LGA who allegedly disguised themselves as transporters in the state. The SP Bright Edafe, the Police Spokesman, confirmed the incident. The command’s image maker said the suspects robbed one of their victims and transferred the sum of N750,000 from her bank account, collected the victim’s iPhone pro max and iPhone 13 pro max.

·         On 28th November. 2024, operatives of the Delta State Police Command confirmed two suspected armed robbers were killed by gunshots fired by their colleagues during a shootout with police operatives of the command in the state. SP Bright Edafe, the Public Relations Officer of the command, confirmed the incident, said one English Pump Action gun, one locally made cut-to-size gun and eight live cartridges, six iPhones, some smartphones and a Rolex Gold Wristwatch were all recovered in a black bag.

EDO

·         On 25th November. 2024, following a clampdown on cultism due to the recent cult killing in the Edo State, operatives of the Police Command apprehended seven suspects allegedly involved in cult-related activities with arms and animation in the state. The Police Commissioner (CP), Umoru Ozigi, acknowledged the arrest.

·         On 26th November. 2024, two suspected electricity cables vandals, impersonating the Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC), were apprehended while vandalizing the DisCo’s transformers in Edo State. Mrs. Evelyn Gbiwen, BEDC’s Head, Branding and Corporate Communication, confirmed the arrest, saying one of the suspects identified as Eden Ubong, was parading a fake BEDC identity card at the time he was arrested.

·          On 29th November. 2024, following an intelligence gathering, operatives of the Edo State Police Command apprehended a 40-year-old man identified as Monday Obakpian, for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl at Odo Quarters in Ibillo, Akoko-Edo Local Government Area of the state. The Police spokesperson in the state, Moses Yamu2qq, confirmed the incident.

KADUNA

·         On 25th November. 2024, credible information has it that eight passengers were killed while six others sustained various degrees of injuries after a bus rammed into a trailer at Jere bridge, along the Abuja-Kaduna highway around 2147 hrs. An official of the FRSC, who was part of the rescue operation, but preferred anonymity confirmed the accident. He said the corpses had been deposited at Sabon-Wuse General Hospital’s Morgue, while the injured were receiving treatment at the same hospital.

·         On 26th November. 2024, following a police raid on criminal black spots by the Kaduna State police operatives, 523 suspects apprehended in various criminal activities across the state. The Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Abdullahi, confirmed in a statement at the command headquarters. Among those arrested were 26 kidnappers, 12 castle rustlers, 97 phone snatchers, 17 car snatchers, 10 rape suspects among others. Added that five AK-47 rifles, two pistols, one submachine gun (SMG), 283 Rustled Cows and 20 sheep, 105 rounds of ammunition and 102 kidnap victims were rescued.

KATSINA ·         On 26th November. 2024, a credible intelligence gathering that 14 passengers were successfully rescued by police operatives in Katsina State from kidnapping by bandits in Dan’arau village, in Magama- Jibia, Jibia LGA. The spokesperson of the police command, ASP Abubakar Aliyu, confirmed the rescued mission.
KWARA ·         On 28th November. 2024, following an intelligence gathering, the Kwara State Police Command apprehended two suspects and recovered a Toyota Camry car with registration Number APP 443 CX reportedly stolen from a parking lot in Lagos. The spokeswoman for the state Police Command, Toun Ejire- Adeyemi (DSP), confirmed the arrest, said their arrest was triggered from intelligence received from a motor spare parts dealer in Ipata-Oloje, Ilorin.
LAGOS ·         On 25th November. 2024, intelligence gathering reported that operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) apprehended a 58 -year-old Chinese man Tianzhen Yen (alias Jackie), for leading an international drug syndicate. Femi Babafemi, spokesman of the agency, confirmed the arrest in Lagos.
ONDO ·         On 26th November. 2024, report has it that two suspected thieves napped by a farmer, identified as Adegoke, who allegedly beaten the two suspected thieves to death in Ore, Headquarters of Odigbo LGA of Ondo State. The Police spokeswoman in the state, Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, confirmed the incident, said Mr. Adegoke had been arrested and transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Akure.
PLATEAU ·         On 27th November. 2027, intelligence gathering has it that six people in various communities in Tudunwada and Gyogob, Kanam Local Government Area of Plateau State, reportedly kidnapped by armed gunmen. The Secretary of Kanam Development Association, Shehu Kanam confirmed the incident.
FEDERAL CAPITAL TERRITORY (FCT)

·         On 25th November. 2024, intelligence gathering reported that a vigilante and hunters shot dead a suspected kidnapper at Achido village in Abaji Area Council of the FCT. The FCT Police Commands PPRO, SP Adeh Josephine, sought to find out and get back.

·         On 26th November. 2024, credible intelligence gathering reported corpses of nine people suspected to be bandits have reportedly been dumped near the Igu community in the Bwari Area Council of the FCT. The councilor representing Igu Ward, Jerry Alkali confirmed the incident, adding that it was the second time of such finds within a month.

·         On 29th November. 2024, report has it that operatives of Federal Capital Territory Police Command apprehended four suspected robbers and recovered arms and counterfeit currencies during a raid in their hideout around Dei-Dei timber shed in Abuja. the Commissioner of Police FCT, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, disclosed.
