· On 31st May. 2024, report has it that many people including some soldiers reportedly killed when a reign of terror was unleashed on the South-East geopolitical zone most Abia, Imo, Enugu, Ebonyi and Anambra. Vehicles and Keke Napep were set ablaze by rampaging terrorists during the enforcement of a sit-at-home order by the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafara (IPOB). Major-General Edward Buba, Director Defence Media Operations, said the attacks on our troops unhealthy. The South-East Governor’s condemned attacked on soldiers and innocent citizens. |

· On 31st May. 2024, information has it that a policeman has allegedly killed a town service driver identified as Benalayefa Bako Asiiayei, over his alleged refusal to give N200 bribe always collected from drivers by operatives of the force on patrol duty in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State Capital. ASP Musa Muhammed, the state police spokesman confirmed the incident, said the affected officer has been identified and he is currently in detention. |

· On 30th May. 2024, the gallant police force in Benue State killed three suspected kidnappers, rescued two victims unharmed, recovered one AK-47 rifles, one Dane gun, assorted phones, a camouflage uniform, and a motorcycle were recovered in the Sankera axis of the state. Police spokeswoman, SP Cathrine Anene confirmed succeed recorded. · On 30th May. 2024, information has it that the Benue State Police Command, confirmed the kidnapping of two female students of the Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University of Agriculture Makurdi (JOSTUM), formerly called Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi (FUAM). The PPRO, SP Cathrine Anene, confirmed the incident in Makurdi without revealing the identities of the affected students. |

· On 31st May. 2024, more than 35 fishermen in Kukawa Local Government Area border of Borno and Chad were reportedly killed when ISWAP fighters attacked residents. Scores fled their homes following an ultimatum issued by ISWAP terrorist to leave their homes or face death. The situation remain uncertain as the community is in a state of panic. |

· On 27th May. 2024, Delta State Police Command has nabbed one Chief Oviri Onorigho (52), an accountant with the Delta State Polytechnic, Oghara, in Ethiope West LGA for allegedly engaging himself in cultism activities. · On 29th May. 2024, three suspects, Emmanuel John Aisewowhion (34), Philip Omomedia (37) and Christopher Semede (33) were arrested by the operatives of the Delta State Police Command over armed robbery and cultism. The command spokesman, SP Bright Edafe, disclosed. |

· On 29th May. 2024, suspected gunmen in their numbers attacked Akpoha community, located in the Afikpo LGA of Ebonyi State and killed 3 persons and injured others. DSP Joshua Ukandu, the Police Public Relation in the state confirmed the incident. |

· On 28th May. 2024, a 32 -year-old man, Etionsa Aiguokun, allegedly killed his father Mr. Aiguokun and his stepmother, Mrs. Roseline Aiguokun with a pestle, following a disagreement between him and the father in the Evbomore community in Ovia North-East LGA of Edo State. The Edo State Police Command Spokesperson, Chidi Nwabuzor, said investigation going. |

· On 29th May. 2024, report has it that men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), in Ekiti State intercepted a Toyota Camry loaded with 30 suspected stolen goats on Ado-Ikere Road. Afolabi Tolulope, the commands spokesman, called on victims to immediately visit the CTU base along Afao Road, Ado-Ekiti to identify their goats, noting that 14 goats had died due to stress and deprived of water. · On 30th May. 2024, two people killed by a stray bullet from the operatives of police force in the Omisanjana area of Ado-Ekiti in an attempt to control an accident scene, misfired and hit two people who died before they got to the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH). The command’s spokesman, Sunday Abutu confirmed the unfortunate incident. |

· On 30th May. 2024, report has it that the Jigawa State Police Command confirmed the arrest of 92 suspect in connection with various crimes including kidnapping, fraud, vandalism, theft, and drug peddling. The command’s spokesman, DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam, explained that the arrest was made during a raid on black spots and criminal hideouts across the state. |

· On 28th May. 2024, report has it that, Bandits order famers in Ungwar Jibo and Nasarawa communities in Kachia LGA of Kaduna State to raise N100,000 each as a condition to be allowed to cultivate their lands for giving information to troops of their movement and location. The spokesman of the Kaduna State Police Command, SP Hassan Mansur, yet to react to the development. · On 29th May. 2024, three suspected bandits shot dead, and two informants arrested during a raid on their hideout when the troops, alongside vigilantes in Nasarawa Azzara-Dogon-Fili community in Katari in Kachia LGA of Kaduna State. The spokesman of the Kaduna State Police Command, SP Hassan Mansur, yet to confirm the incident. · On 30th May. 2024, twelve traders feared dead following an attack by bandits in broad daylight at the Maro Junction market in Maro Ward, Kajuru LGA of Kaduna State. The community leader, Mr. Reuben Maro, confirmed the harrowing incident, noting that the injured victims were taken to Royal Hospital and General Hospital, Kachia, for medical attention. ASP Mansur Hassan, the state PPRO confirmed the incident. · On 31st May. 2024, the troops of the 1 Division Nigeria Army and Operation Whirl Punch, killed six insurgents and arrested three suspects during a special operation in Giwa LGA of Kaduna State. Samuel Aruwan, the overseeing Commissioner of the Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, stated that the troop conducted a special patrol in response to credible intelligence regarding terrorist activities. |

· On 27th May. 2024, 11 people reportedly killed by bandits in Ungwar Lamido community of Bakori Local Government Area of Katsina State. The Katsina State spokesperson, ASP Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu, confirmed the incident, he added that at about 2145hrs the bandits in their numbers wielding dangerous weapons launched attacked. · On 27th May. 2024, information has it that in similar incident, suspected bandits attack Yarbata community in Kankara LGA of the State and killed 15 persons mostly women and children. ASP Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu confirmed the incident. |

· On 27th May. 2024, two abducted students at Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH) Sara, Adavi LGA of Kogi State were reportedly killed by their abductors in their camp. The victim identified as James Micheal Anajuwe 100level student Information Technology and Musa Hussein 100level student of Software Engineering. The State Police Commissioner, Mr. Bethrand Onuoha, confirmed the incident. · On 29th May. 2024, information has it that in an encounter with police operatives lead by the Divisional Police Officer of Obajana, CSP Oguche Richard in collaboration with vigilantes, two suspected kidnappers terrorising people in Obajana communities in Lokoja LGA were reportedly killed, AK-47 rifle with two magazines and two rounds of live ammunition were recovered. |

· On 30th May. 2024, operatives of the Ilorin Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrested seven suspects over alleged illegal mining activities and recovered five truckloads of minerals suspected to be lepidolite, lithium and other precious stones in Ogbomosho, Kwara State. |

· On 27th May. 2024, report has it that, 3 persons confirmed dead when a mosque collapsed in the Papa Ajao area of Lagos State. Seven others rescued alive following Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Lagos State command intervention. · On 27th May. 2024, the Detectives of the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Lagos State Command arrested and taken into custody a 48-year-old man named Charls Chukwudi, for forging official court documents. · On 29th May. 2024, information has it that a cocaine trafficking cartel headed by a couple, Bolanle Lookman Dauda and Olyayinka Toheebat Dauda, has been smashed in Lagos by the National Drug law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) with multi-billion naira worth of the illicit drug recovered in two operations following the arrest of the kingpin and his wife. Spokesman of the agency, Mr. Femi Babefemi disclosed. · On 30th May. 2024, the Police in Lagos State arrested a 21-year-old woman, simply identified a Blessing, for allegedly stealing a one-month-old baby boy. The command’s spokesman, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the arrest. |

· On 28th May. 2024, the Police in Nasarawa State arrested four (4) robbery suspects identify as Usman Abdullahi of Sabon Layi, Keffi, Abdullahi Mohammed, Ibrahim Musa both males of Angwan Tiv Masaka and Fa’ad Idris of Jahun area of Bauchi State who had attacked some students’ lodges and a hotel in Gunki area of Nasarawa town of the state capital. The PPRO, DSP Ramhan Nansel, said the suspects were arrested by operatives of the Nasarawa Division led by CSP Mohammed Padah following a distress call. |

· On 28th May.2024, bandits numbering about 300, invaded Kuchi and adjoining communities, killing six vigilantes and four other people. The residents of Kuchi in Munya LGA of Niger State lament and call on government to intervene to save life and property. |

· On 27th May. 2024, information has it that four persons died, while four sustained various degree of injuries which involved in author crash along the Sagamu -Ikorodu route in Ogun State. The Spokesman of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Florence Okpe, confirmed the incident in Abeokuta. · On 27th May. 2024, at least three people killed in a clash between suspected revering cult members of Aye and Eiye confraternity groups in the Ijoko of Ogun State. · On 27th May. 2024, suspect bandits kidnapped a driver and three passengers on their way to Irun Akoko in Akoko Northwest LGA of Ondo State. Ondo Commander of the Amotekun Corps, Mr. Adetunji Adeleye, confirmed the incident, The PPRO of the State, Funmilayo Odunlami, said she is yet to be briefed about the incident. · On 30th May. 2024, report has it that 23-year-old farm labourer identify as Monday Friday, arrested for killing his foster brother, Emeka John, by hitting him with a plank of wood on the head when siblings were returning home from a night party in Leege village in Idanre LGA of Ondo State. confirming the arrest, a police source said that the suspect had been arraigned before a magistrates’ court on a court charge of murder. |

· On 31st May. 2024, report has it that a young man allegedly involved in the supply of arms to bandits in Jos has been arrested by residents and handed over to the police. The Chairman of the Jos NTA Park, Ibrahim Maikwudi, confirmed the incident. Meanwhile, the spokesman for the Plateau State Police Command, Alabo Alfred, yet to respond to the inquiries at the time of filing this report. |

· On 31st May. 2024, one Bala Abubakar of Tudun Wada area of Sokoto State who allegedly sold 28 children including six of his biological sons has been arrested by operatives of the Sokoto Police Command. Commissioner of Police, Hayatu Kaigama while parading the suspects, said 26 of the children had been rescued. · On 31st May. 2024, report has it that one suspected kidnapper neutralised and another injured as police rescued Barrister Rukayya Mustapha a Sokoto lawyer and Salim Abdussalam. The police recovered 10 rounds of live ammunition, two solar panels a Tecno mobile phone and a blanket. · On 31st May. 2024, Saifullah Hassan of Gummi LGA, Zamfara State, intercepted for allegedly murdered his girlfriend in a Sokoto hotel room. Additionally, Abdulnasir Bello arrested for alleged impersonation and cheating. |

· On 29th May. 2024, information has it that twin babies Hassana and Hussaina Barau in Kuchiko community in Bwari Area Council of the FCT reportedly crushed by an Abuja bound train from Kaduna State. community leader Mr. Andrew Dogonyaro confirmed the incident. |
