· On 03rd July. 2024, information has it that Police operatives in Anambra State recovered a three-month old baby girl dumped in front of Oraukwu Boys Technical College in Idemili North LGA. The Command Spokesman, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the rescued and called on anyone who knew the parents of the baby to come forward with claims to collect her. |

· On 02nd July. 2024, intelligence gathering has it that the gallant police personnel in Benue State killed two bandits after invading their criminal camp at Mbatyula Council Ward in Katsina-Ala Local Government Area of Benue State. The Police Spokesperson, Cathrine Anene, confirmed the success recorded. She said the Commissioner of Police in Benue State, Hassan Steve Yabanet, commended the bravery exhibited by the officers and enjoined the people of Sankera to avail useful information to the police about suspects at large who may be seen with gunshot injuries. · On 05th July. 2024, police operatives in Benue State reportedly arrest 18 suspects over a violent protest in Ukum LGA. The violent followed the killing of at least 11 people by armed men whose activities continued to plague the Sankera axis comprising the three LGAs of Ukum, Katsina-Ala and Logo. The Police Spokeswoman in the state, SP Catherine Anene, indicated that many properties belonging to the government and individuals were destroyed during the protest. |

· On 01st July. 2024, information has it that many people, including a soldier, and some wedding guests were killed, and several others injured when four suicide bombers launched attacks at different spots in Gwoza and Pulka towns, all in Gwoza LGA. The Director General of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA). Dr. Barkindo M. Saidu, confirmed the incident. He said 18 persons comprising children, adult males, females and pregnant women died while 19 others who were seriously injured were conveyed to Maiduguri in four ambulances. |

· On 02nd July. 2024, intelligence gathering has it that seven suspects allegedly involved in kidnapping and collecting ransom arrested by the police during a sting operation in Uromi and Ugboha axes, Edo Central senatorial District of Edo State. The Commissioner of Police (CP), Funsho Adegboye, confirmed the interception. He added the items recovered from the suspects to include an AK-47 rifles, 21 rounds of live ammunition, a double-barrel gun, one Dane gun, two dummy pistols and six cartridges. · On 02nd July. 2024, operatives of the Edo State Police Command arrested an armed robbery suspect, Eboh Ehimare (45), with guns while he was allegedly waiting for his gang members to carry out a robbery operation on the Benin-Auchi road. The Commissioner of Police (CP), Funsho Adegbayo, confirmed the development, he said the suspects was arrested at No 128, Benin-Auchi Road, Benin City with pump action gun, one locally made cut-to-size gun, two English pistols, two rounds of cartridges and a jack knife were recovered from him. · On 02nd July. 2024, report has it that the operatives of the Edo State Police Command arrested six suspects, including a vigilante, over the alleged murder of a man identified as Omobue who was tied up and, in the process, he suffocated to death. The State Commissioner of Police (CP), Funsho Adegboye confirmed the incident. · On 03rd July. 2024, the Police in Edo State under the Anti-kidnapping and cybercrime unit tactical unknit arrested three suspects over allegedly forcefully initiating one Osamudiamen Omozee into Eiye Confraternity. The commands spokesman, SP Chidi Nwabuzor, confirmed the arrest. He said the victim reported to the police that Omosuwe lured into a certain house along Benin-Auchi road with the pretense to give him job and forcefully initiated him into Eiye Secret cult. · On 04th July. 2024, following a credible intelligence gathering the Edo State Police Command intercepted three suspects, Teddy Ebhodaghe (46), Emmanuel (55) and Evans Ojiesele (32), over alleged gun running kidnapping and robbery. The State Commissioner of Police, Funsho Adegboye, confirmed the arrest. · On 05th July. 2024, credible information has it that police arrested four persons namely Osagbovo Omono (37), Sarahu Bilu Ismail (20), Umaru Azika (28) and Solomon John (20), during a raid in Iyowa community along Benin-Akure road, for allegedly involved in cultism, as well as being in possession of firearms. The Edo State Commissioner of Police, Funsho Adegboye, confirmed the development. |

· On 04th July. 2024, information has it that the Agro Marshals in Ekiti State have been arrested on Ayodele Ajele for allegedly attempting to rape a 61-year-old woman who he claims he extremely loves. The Commander of the corps Mr. Johnson Oni confirmed the arrest. Also, the commander also paraded a self-acclaimed prophet Emmanuel Abimbola, and three other suspects identified as Sunday Abiodun, Ajewole Olamilekan and Promise Odife over drug trafficking and rape of a minor. |

· On 04th July. 2024, report has it that Jigawa State Police Command confirmed a violent clash between farmers and herders in Birnin Kudu LGA, resulting in two fatalities, three house razed down and five suspects implicated in the violence apprehended. The Public Relation Officer for the command, DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam, said the police alongside NSCDC and Vigilante Group swiftly respond to the scene and dispersed the conflicting parties and recovered 15 abandoned cows. |

· On 01st July. 2024, suspected bandits abducted the village head identified as Mallam Ashiru Sherehu of Tunburku in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State. Hussaini Umar, a traditional leader and Sarkin Fadin Galadimawa, confirmed the abduction and said two other farmers were abducted in Sabon Layi under the Kidandan ward while working on their farms. The Kaduna State Police Command Has not yet commented, attempt to reach the command’s PPRO of the State, ASP Mansir Hassan were unsuccessful. · On 02nd t July. 2024, intelligence gathering has it that 3 female hawkers arrested by troops for allegedly being bandits’ informants in Dagon-Daji community in Kagarko LGA of Kaduna State. The community leader who preferred anonymity confirmed the arrest. Meanwhile, the spokesperson of the Kaduna State Police Command, ASP Hassan Mansur, was yet to confirm the arrest. · On 04th July. 2024, report has it that abductors of Customary Court Judge in Kaduna, Janet Galadima and her four sons demanded N300 million as ransom for their release. The Chairman of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Kaduna Branch, Godwin Ochai, expressing concern for the family. He calls for quick action from security agencies to stem the tide of abductions targeting judges. · On 05th July. 2024, following an intelligence gathering, soldiers arrested two suspected bandit informants in the cattle market of SCC village of Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State. Kabiru Saleh, a resident of the neighboring Azzara community, confirmed the arrest. The spokesman of the command, ASP Hassan Mansur, was yet to confirm the arrest as at the time of filing this report. |

· On 02nd July. 2024, report has it that twenty-five people killed and 127 others injured in two road accidents in Kano State. The first accident occurred around the Dangwauro International Market in Kano City when a trailer loaded with people and cow collided with another vehicle and somersaulted. The second accident involved truck carrying people, animals on the Zaria Road Flyover, no fewer than 74 people suffered injuries, while 120 goats were killed. The Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Kano State, Ibrahim Abdullahi, confirmed the incident. · On 05th July. 2024, intelligence gathering has it that 25 young men and women at a motel, City Arrival, in the Sabon Gari area of Fagge LGA were apprehended by operatives of the Kano State Hisbah Board. The Director General (DG) of the board, Dr Sufi, confirm the arrest. He said a raid on the hotel followed an intelligence report. |

· On 01st July. 2024, armed bandits killed at least four and injured two mobile policemen. The ambush occurred as the officers were travelling from Zandam in Jibia to Local Government Area to the main town of Jibia to purchase necessary supplies. An attempt to confirm the incident from Katsina police spokesperson, ASP Abubakar Sadiq, was unsuccessful as he did not respond to calls or messages at the time of reporting. · On 03rd July. 2024, Dr. Tiri Gyan David, who was the Head of the Department of Agricultural Economics, Extension and Rural Development at the Federal University, Dutsinma (FUDMA) in Katsina State, was attacked and killed at his residence in the Yarima Quarters, Low-Cost Estate, Dutsinma Local Government Area. The Spokesman Katsina State Police Command, confirmed the incident, stating that the command would releases a detailed statement soon. |

· On 01st July. 2024, report has it that National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) officers at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Ikeja, Lagos State, arrested two passengers identified as Aikhomoun Daniel (Oladapo Olanrewaju) and Ayigoro Waheed Omobolaji travelling to Doha on a Qatar Airways flight at the screening point of Terminal 2 after they tested positive to ingestion of illicit substance. · On 02nd July. 2024, a mini truck with registration number: SMK 796 YE who descending the bridge at Sura Market rammed into two Mazda vehicles with registration numbers AGL 576 TG and AKD 531 YC, truck driver and his conductor who were conveying sachet water were reportedly injured in the crash on Third Mainland Bridge, Lagos. The Special Adviser to the Governor on Transportation, Hon Sola Giwa, confirmed the accident, said preliminary investigation revealed that the driver the truck lost control due to brake failure. · On 03rd July. 2024, information has it that two dismissed soldiers identified as Akeem Suleiman and Abdullahi who are members of a car snatching syndicate operating in Lagos and Ogun State have been arrested. Also, two civilian receivers of stolen cars. The commissioner of Police (CP), Adegoke Fayoade, represented by the PPRO, said several insignias belonging to the Nigeria Army (NA), two guns, forged army ID cards and two vehicles: a Toyota and Corolla and Lexus Jeep, were recovered from the suspects. · On 04th July. 2024, report has it that a 36-year-old man, Amos Daniel, has been arrested while giving thanks to God for a new car in a church in the Ojo area of Lagos for allegedly stealing the car 24 hours after being hired as a driver. Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Adegoke Fayoade, confirmed the development. He said, interestingly, the driver took the keys and drove away with the vehicles. The car was later tracked to a church in Ojo, where the suspect was giving thanks. · On 05th July. 2024, following an intelligence gathering police officers from the Ikorodu Area Command has rescued a 19-year-old pregnant woman from committing suicide in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State. reason for her action was because she was jilted by her boyfriend after impregnating her. Lagos State police spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the rescued. He added that investigation was underway to identify and apprehend all individuals involved in her predicament. · On 05th July. 2024, information has it that a car dealer identified as Samuel Durojaiye has been apprehended for allegedly buying stolen vehicles from robbery gangs in Lagos State. it was learnt that the arrest followed the arrest of a mechanic involved in the selling of 14 stolen cars. The Lagos State Police spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the arrest. |

· On 01st July. 2024, Alhaji Ja’afaru popularly known as Alhaji Ja’afara Mai Maganin Feshi and his son Ibrahim Ja’afaru, and 11 others reportedly lost their lives in an auto crash at Kawo village on Kontagora-Kebbi Road. One of the recused team officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) from Gegu unit command the accident. the official who preferred anonymity attributed the accident to speed limit violent and dangerous overtaking, confirming that 11 people died while 9 others sustained injuries. |

· On 02nd July. 2024, Men of the Ogun State Orientation and Safety Corps (So-Safe Corps) arrested three suspctes, Mansirina Usman (27), Janadu Ahyarn (20) and Husseni Abdullahi (20), for buying stolen transformer cables worth N9.8 million from POIC State, Agbara. The spokesman of the corps, Moruf Yusuf, in a statement said the corps was alerted that the transformer cables were vandalised and stolen from the OPIC state. · On 02nd July. 2024, report has it that gunmen shot a driver on the knee and abducted some travelers into the forest near the Delabo Junction on the Sagamu-Ijebu-Ode expressway in Ogun State. The Chairman of Ilisan Development Council, Wemmy Osude, confirmed the attacked by the hoodlums. · On 04th July. 2024, operatives of the Ogun Police Command reportedly killed two suspects and recued four captives unharmed after a gun battle with kidnappers. The Police Commissioner, Abiodun Alamutu, confirmed the development. He said, the Anti-kidnaping squad’s superior firepower led to the elimination of two suspects, while the remaining criminals escaped with injuries, 109 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition, 5 AK-47 rifles eight magazines and two cell phones were recovered from the suspects. |

· On 01st July. 2024, report has it that armed bandits kidnapped Anthony Ebele, a cleric with one of the popular Pentecostal churches in Ondo State, while working on his farm at Ogbese in Akure North Local Government Area of the state. the police spokeswoman in the state, Funmi Odunlami-Omisanya, confirmed the abduction. · On 01st July. 2024, an herb seller, Mufutau Taiwo, 35-year-old otherwise known as “concoction” in Akure, the Ondo State Capital, has been dragged before a Family Magistrates’ Court for allegedly engaging in an unlawful sexual relation with his eight-year-old biological daughter which the police said contradicted section 25(a) of the Ondo State Violence Against Persons (Prohibition) Law of 2021. |

· On 01st July. 2024, information has it that a 23-year-old herder Abubakar Musa, in Donkasa community of Jos North LGA of Plateau State has been allegedly killed by the personnel of Operation Safe Heaven, a special security taskforce maintaining peace in Plateau and some parts of Bauchi and Kaduna States. The Chief of Staff of the Operation, Brig Gen MO Agi, responding on behalf of the operation during the funeral said, “The GOC has sent his condolences to the immediate family. The GOC has ordered investigation into the matter. |

· On 01st July. 2024, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) officials intercepted 6,125 cartons of codeine syrup containing 1,050,000 bottles of the opioid worth over N7.35bn in street value, at the Port Harcourt Ports complex, Onne, River State. · On 02nd July. 2024, report has it that the Nigeria Custom Service (NCS) Controller General, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, disclosed that the NCS intercepted a significant cache of arms, ammunition, and drugs in River State, with duty-paid value of N13.9 billion in Onne Port River State. Items intercepted include 40-foot container carrying 844 rifles and 12, 500 live ammunitions with a duty-paid value of 4.171 billion, 40-foot container containing 1 million bottles of cough syrup with codeine, Toradol Benzhexol tablets with billions duty-paid and other illegal items intercepted. |

· On 01st July. 2024, information has it that no fewer than three people have been confirmed dead while seven others sustained injuries after a building collapsed due to heavy downpours, 50 were either damaged or destroyed, rendering several families homeless at Tsohon Gari in Nangere LGA of Yobe State. The Executive Secretary of the State Emergency Management Agency (YOSEMA). Dr. Goje Muhammad confirmed the incident. · On 02nd July. 2024 report has it that three vigilantes identified as Ibrahim Mohammed (24), Hassan Umar (25) have been arrested for criminal conspiracy, trespass, burglary, receiving and trading in stolen goods in Damaturu, Yobe State. The spokesman Yobe State Police Command, DSP Dungus Abdulkareem, said the suspects were arrested following a credible information. · On 05th July. 2024, the National Agency for Food, Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has intensified its crackdown on drug hawkers operating in weekly markets in Yobe State. Yobe State Coordinator of NAFDAC, Mr. Lawan Musa Dadingelma, said that during a recent raid, numerous drugs were seized in line with NAFDAC’s commitment to upholding regulatory standards and safeguarding standards and safeguarding public health. |

· On 01st July. 2024, credible intelligence gathering has it that operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) disrupted a drug party dubbed ‘Go hard or Go Home: Pick Your Poison,’ where 60 suspects comprising 25 males and 35 females were arrested at an apartment in Sun City Estate in Abuja. The spokesman of the agency, Femi Babafemi confirmed the development. · On 02nd July. 2024, information has it that the FCT Police Command arrested a suspect Ibrahim Suleiman, in connection with a recent failed bank robbery in Abaji Council. Benneth Igweh, the FCT Police Commissioner, who disclosed this said a Peugeot Saloon with registration number: KAB 480 AA, and seven master keys were recovered from the suspctes. · On 03rd July. 2024, operatives of the FCT Police Commands have arrested 96 suspects, including scavengers, following raids on some criminal hideouts and black spots around Nyanya, Galadimawa, Kubwa, Kabusa, Lugbe, Mabushi, Idu, Karimo and Byazhin Police Division. CP Benneth Igweh, while parading the suspects, said the raid which was conducted simultaneously also included Asokoro, Jikoyi and Karshi. He said exhibits recovered during the raids include cutlasses, knives, pairs of scissors, gas cylinder, solar panels hammer, identity cards and a Peugeot with reg number BWR 855 AS, which was snatched by some hoodlums around Wuse Zone 3 had been recovered by the operatives of the Durumi Division. · On 05th July. 2024, intelligence gathering has it that five suspected kidnappers have been arrested during a gun duel between operatives of the FCT Police Command and kidnappers in a forest bothering the Gwagwa and Dei-Dei area of Abuja. CP Benneth Igweh, gave the names of the arrested suspects while parading as Umar Abdullahi, aka Auta; Likita Abubakar; Salisu Sani; Sabiu Mohammed and Aliyu Suleiman. The operatives recovered four AK-47 rifles from them, he called on residents to continue to be vigilant. |
