SECURITY INCIDENCES

ADAMAWA

·         On 4th June 2026, six people have reportedly died in a road accident involving a military vehicle and a commercial Hummer bus on the Girei-Song highway in Adamawa State.

ANAMBRA

·         On 2nd June 2026, the commissioner of price in Anambra, Ikioye had confirmed the shooting to death of 2 operatives said to be returning from an official assignment.

BAUCHI

·         On 5th June 2026, recent intelligence update disclose that seven people were killed and six others injured and dozens of homes destroyed following a violent clash between farmers and herders in Darazo LGA of Bauchi State.

BAYELSA

·         On 3rd June 2026, recent intelligence gathering disclose that troops have neutralized suspected criminals and rescued 2 victims during series of operations conducted across Benue and Taraba States.

BORNO

·         On 2nd June 2026, verified accounts claim that cholera outbreak has killed more than 40 people and infected 3,000 people in 139 communities across seven LGAs in Borno State.

CROSS RIVER

·         On 1st June 2026, external reports have confirmed that, security forces had uncovered shallow graves and exhumed healed bodies in Creek Town, Odukpani LGA of Cross River State, following the arrest of suspected serial killer identified as Akaninyene.

KADUNA

·         On 1st June 2026, reports available indicate that operatives of the NDLEA have intercepted 380 rounds of military grade ammunition along the Abuja-Kaduna expressway and handed over the suspect to appropriate security agencies for further investigation.

KATSINA

·         On 4th June 2026, external reports have confirmed that Kaduna State Police command have confirmed the arrest of a newly married woman accused of killing her co-wife by stabbing her during a dispute allegedly linked to suspected bearing of a child in Zaria.

KOGI

·         On 2nd June 2026, credible sources suggest that, 2 people were reportedly killed following a clash of security operatives and masquerades in Adavi LGA of Kogi State during the ongoing Echane festival.

·         On 3rd June 2026, briefing from security reports indicate that suspected ritualist have allegedly killed a female student and dumped her body at the Crusher along the Felele-Lokoja road in Lokoja, Kogi State.

NASARAWA

·         On 1st June 2026, information from credible sources reveal that the Nasarawa State Police Command had arrested 2 men over alleged theft, criminal conspiracy and unlawful possession of firearm following operation in Keffi LGA.

·         On 1st June 2026, external reports have confirmed that, Police have arrested suspected kidnappers, armed robbers, Castle rustlers and recovered arms, stolen livestock and other exhibits in separate operations.

NIGER

·         On 2nd June 2026, security alerts obtained from reliable sources claim that, at least 2 Nigerien Nationals and other 3 masterminds linked to the abduction of schoolchildren have been arrested by operatives of the DSS. The operatives also recovered a large cache of arms from them.

·         On 3rd June 2026, external reports have confirmed that a trader was allegedly stabbed to death by suspected robbers who attached his residence behind Niger Motel in Suleja, Niger State.

ONDO

·         On 5th June 2026, the Ondo State Police Command had arrested a man for allegedly beating his biological father to death over a violent altercation in Oda community of Akure South LGA.

OYO

·         On 4th June 2026, updates from reliable sources disclose that gunmen have attached an office of the Nigerian Immigration Service in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, carting away firearms and other variables bringing to officers on duty.

PLATEAU

·         On 2nd June 2026, verified accounts claim that, gunmen have killed at least 24 people and injured several others in separate attacks on communities in Plateau State.

·         On 2nd June 2026, 2 suspected motorcycle thieves were burnt to death by a mob in Langtang South LGA following allegations of involvement in criminal activities in the area.

TARABA

·         On 4th June 2026, findings from credible sources disclose that, give people have been killed and dozens of others displaced following communal conflict between Karinjo and Wurkum communities in Karim Lamido LGA of Taraba State.

FEDERAL CAPITAL TERRITORY (FCT)

·         On 2nd June 2026, updates from reliable sources had confirmed that, a bolt driver had been allegedly stabbed to death by suspected car snatchers in Wuse. Eyewitness said the incident occurred during heavy downpour.

·         On 3rd June 2026, insights from field suggest that several houses and farmlands have been submerged following a heavy downpour that triggered flooding in Sheda community of Kwali Area Council of the FCT.

·         On 3rd June 2026, external reports have confirmed that gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted a resident of Kungabokun community of Kubwa, Bwari Area Council of the FCT.
