· On 22nd May 2026, sources disclose that, the police command in Akwa Ibom said it has a man over suspected involvement in drug trafficking in the state. The commands’ spokesperson State said this in a statement in Uyo that substances suspected to be hemp were red l recovered from the suspect. |

· On 19th 2026, preliminary investigation reveal that operatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested 11 suspects including 2 females over alleged involvement in cult related activities in the state. They were arrested during separate raids on cultists hideout in Asaba and its environs. |

· On 18th May 2026, updates from reliable sources indicate that an angry mob has lynched a man after he allegedly killed 2 people in Use community, Ovia West LGA of Edo State. The incident occurred when the deceased allegedly attacked and killed 2 persons without provocation. · On 19th May 2026, verified accounts claim that the Edo State commander of NDLEA has disclosed that the agency arrested 4 suspected drug traffickers, comprising 3 women and 1 man in Edo State. The agency said 2 cannabis presentations were destroyed. |

The protesters blocked road for several hours demanding to end recurring bandits attacks from neighboring communities. |

Witness said the attackers invaded the market during the day time, shooting indiscriminately and killing people on the spot. |

· On 18th May 2026, external reports have confirmed that the police command in Lagos State have apprehended suspected members of a notorious one chance robbery syndicate allegedly terrorizing communities in the Okota area of the state. The command spokesperson confirmed the development in a statement issued in Lagos. |

· On 19th May 2026, reports indicate that a woman and her grandson were killed when a truck crushed into their homes in Maje, Suleja in Niger State. · On 18th May 2026, findings from independent sources reveal that the NPF have confirmed the killing of 17 Police officers and an undisclosed number of soldiers in an attack on the Nigerian Army school in Gujba LGA of Yobe State. This was confirmed in a statement by the force spokesperson, Anthony Okon Placid. |
