ADAMAWA

·         On 28th April 2026, accounts from verified sources confirm that, terrorists have killed at least 29 people in an attack on Sabon Gari village in Guyaku District, Gimbia LGA of Adamawa State. A resident confirmed that the attack occurred when the many villagers had gathered to watch a local football match.

AKWA IBOM

·         On 29th April 2026, recent intelligence suggest that the Akwa Ibom State Police command and the EFCC have rescued 14 victims abducted by sea pirates along the Calabar-Oron Waterways. The PPRO in the state, DSP Timfon John started this in a press release.

BENUE

·         On 27th April 2026, external reports have confirmed that 3 men have been shot dead by gunmen in an attack at Sati Ikov ward in Ushongo LGA of Benue state. It was gathered that two persons were abducted during the incident which occurred as victims were returning from a burial ceremony.

·         On 28th April 2026, at least 7 people have been killed by armed invaders at Channel One, a border settlement in Ukemberagya/Tswarev Council Ward of Logo LGA of Benue state. Witness said others were critically injured in what they described as coordinated attack.

CROSS RIVER

·         On 1st May 2026, the Cross River State Police Command had arrested a man over alleged armed robbery, assault and unlawful possession of firearm in Calabar.

DELTA

·         On 29th April 2026, reports from trusted channels reveal that operative of the Delta State Police Command have arrested 5 suspected kidnappers and recovered an AK47 rifle loaded with 36 rounds of ammunition.

·         On 29th April 2026, findings from credible sources observed that the Delta State Police Command had arrested an officer who allegedly shot and killed a suspect in a viral video in Effuruk LGA of Delta State.

EDO

·         On 27th April 2026, credible sources reveal that operative of the Edo State Police Command have rescued 9 kidnapped victims including 5 passengers of the GUO Transport company but kidnapped along the Benin Ore Expressway. The commands’ spokesperson, Eno Ikoedem confirmed this in a statement.

·         On 28th April 2026, findings from independent sources disclose that, the Edo State Police command of the NDLEA said it has intercepted 782 kilograms of tramadol and other illicit drugs in the state. The also disclosed that two members of the drug cartel were apprehended in connection with the sized drugs

EKITI

·         On 30th April 2026, credible reports reveal that no fewer than 15 worshipers have been kidnapped at a church in Eda-Oniyo, Ilejeme LGA of Ekiti state by gunmen who also killed a visiting pastor and a revivalist. The Oba of the community confirmed the incident, saying the abductors are demanding 1 billion as random from community to set the people free.

KANO

·         28th April 2026, insight from field reports suggest that a Kano State high Court has sentenced a man to 14 years in for murder of one Surajo Garba.

KATSINA

·         On 27th April 2026, recent intelligence update disclose that gunmen have launched an attack on Gurbi community in Kankara LGA of Katsina State, reportedly killing more than 10 people and insuring several others.

KOGI

·         On 1st May 2026, a final year student of Grimard College of Nursing, Anyigba has reportedly been tortured and shot dead in Olamanoro LGA of Kogi State. The incident happened at Nana College of Health after the victim was arrested within the school premises.

KWARA

·         On 28th April 2026, briefing from security sources reveal that five suspected kidnappers have been arrested by the Kwara State Police Command as a crackdown on their networks intensified. Various firearms and ammunitions were also recovered in a coordinated operation across the state.

OGUN

·         On 30th April 2026, credible reports reveal that operatives on the Ogun State Police Command have rescued 5 students following a gun duel with suspected kidnappers. The PPRO, DSP Oluseyi B disclosed this in a statement.

PLATEAU

·         On 28th April 2026, reports available has it that, gunmen attached Gako village in Riyom LGA of Plateau State killing a pastor and 3 members of his family. The publicity secretary of Berom youth confirmed the incident.

RIVERS

·         On 28th April 2026, credible information has revealed that Police operatives in Rivers State have arrested 4 suspected car thieves involved in the sale of stolen vehicles and recovered 5 vehicles from them. The PPRO in the state, ASP Agabe Kaborlo disclosed this in a statement in Port Harcourt.

SOKOTO

·         On 30th April 2026, according to data gathered, a man has been stabbed to death in Sokoto metropolis following a lingering dispute over a missing phone.

YOBE

·         On 30th April 2026, troops of the JTF have neutralized 18 terrorist during a coordinated operation along the Borno-Yobe boundary. The Media Information Officer disclosed this in a statement.

ZAMFARA

·         On 29th April, credible information has it that, Lilo village in Mada district of Gusau LGA of Zamfara State came under attack, forcing resident to flee their homes and seek refuge in neighboring communities. It was learnt that gunmen struggled settlements around the village.
